Don't fret kids - it's a unified scene we're after and this is the best Hold Steady song there is. Doesn't seem to turn up much in the live sets nowadays, so thanks heaps for posting.

thats 4 years and 3 full lengths ago, youre obviously a douche who takes things way to literally. by back in the day i mean the beginning of the hold steady. go write an angry blog about how upset you are that people arent literal enough anymore, like they were 'back in the day'

awesome! this song got me hooked on the hold steady back in the day, its awesome how they still rock their old songs just as much as the newer ones during the live shows

"Back in the day?" When? They didn't even form until 2003 and their first record didn't come out until 2004. Not exactly back in the day.
