I have to admit that this piece was pretty monumental. Excellent choice of selection, expertly executed... fine job all around.

Is it just me, or does your lead guitarist sound just a SMIDGE out of tune?

Are you playing the original soundtrack behind your band as well as keyboarding over some of the strings arrangements?... just curious.

I think the tuning's okay (but I would!) As for the original soundtrack - no. But what you have here is a lot of parts played by keyboard with synthesisers on them - that's where the strings come from, the brass etc. Sometimes they're needed to make it sound right like in this.. sometimes not.

It does sound very similar, and most elements are 100% unchanged - the drums, bass, strings etc are all untouched. The main guitar setting is even identical!

When this was originally played it was with old, dirty guitar strings and that made it 'sound' dirty, which happens... so we just recrecorded those bits.

'Cause Lloyd's learned the song a little better by now he also generally played it a lot better. Both versions will be up for download on our website. :)
