  • Year .. music like Procol Harum - A whiter shade of pale. And in modern time, the Talk Talk song - LIFE'S WHAT YOU MAKE IT - 1986 use of both piano and organ 70. (Hammond style) One of my own favorite, if that´s ok !

  • Jimmy McGriff..."I gotta woman," on Sue label, about 1964. No one sounds exactly like Brother Jack. Saw him live at Pythodd Jazz Festival in Rochester, New York...late 90's. Hard to beat his mastery of the B3!

  • One player that should have been featured on this documentary is the legendary Mike Finnigan, of CS&N, Etta James, Taj Mahal, and countless other recordings, plus an incredible artist in his own right. His prowress on the Hammond B-3 is known by just about every blues artist and producer in the business. Otherwise, this is a great clip.
