As for Sean Foley, based on what I've heard and saw so far, I like him. What I like doesn't matter though, if Tiger rates Foley and stack and tilt, who are we to argue? Incidentally, it has never been officially announced that tiger is going for stack and tilt hook line and sinker, it's just assumed. Tiger's absence from the game reminds me of the Superman 2 film, when Superman gave up all his powers and left mankind without a saviour... It's dire. Now we have people saying rory this and rory that, the kid doesn't even come close, technicalities aside he just doesn't have the brass balls Tiger has. Where's Superman?

golfers often need change. the pendulum of any mechanics is always in motion. When you find something that works and are making a change toward it, often times moving toward that goal will send you well past what works creating a necessity to come back a bit. when an athlete seeks change from a lack of trust in the current, it takes time to find the new balance.

sean is tigers gateway. it's nothing more than a new thought. once the trust arrives on the course, we'll all know.

@ggkolar Case closed if you're a moron. He hired Haney and Haney is obviously terrible at teaching golf. As shown through his tv show where he worked with Barkley and Ray Romano for six months each and didn't improve their games at all. And the whole time he's giving very dumb and worthless advice. Tiger is just grasping at straws. He does so much naturally that is doesn't matter what schmuck is "teaching" him. Tiger was shooting in the 60s when he was 13, nobody taught him that....

@cevallos Jaime: Sean has accomplished a lot before working with Tiger. How about Justin Rose, Hunter Mahan, Sean O'Hair, to name a few? I like your baseball training aid but I think you're a little off base with your comparison of Foley to Kim Kardashian. Her ass is way bigger.

Tigers swing isn't fixed. I know that because I know mechanics and I don't hear Foley talking about the right things. I know how things work inside the PGA system too. I don't need to hang around it any longer to understand it's silliness. Have you ever thought how rediculous it is that you basically HAVE to be in the PGA system to teach golf? Most of the guys who teach have been golfing since they were kids. Wrong guys to learn from.

I've always been my own best teachers. As a teacher myself, I try to get the student on his own as soon as possible. So I guess I don't really believe that teachers should have to spend time to "get you." I don't know anything about the CPGA, but that's good that they allow you to be forward thinkers. My question is, couldn't you just be a foward thinker without paying them to let you?

I just think it's a little silly to be standing up and talking about how to live LIFE when all you've done is rise throught he ranks and shake the right hands so far. He hasn't accomplished anything with tiger yet. The swing is still off. I have heard his methods though and they're no impressive to me. It doesn't get to what mechanically ails Tiger. Don't mean to hate. I've seen how it works.

@cevallos1012 How is tiger's swing still off? Look at his performances ever since he started working with sean foley including the ryder cup! Did u catch the chevron world challenge?! His swing looks alot more solid through the impact area than it has since 2000. If tiger woods is your pupil, then you've done alot more than "shake hands with the right people". If tiger works with Foley, that says alot about what kind of coach he is. You can't play golf without having balance off the golf course

this guy climbs through the ranks of the PGA teaching system which produces clones, not forward thinking instructors. He gets lucky and gets hired by tiger woods and now he's giving life lessons to kids. This is like Kim Kardashian giving life lessons to young girls.
