This story quotes a shooting of an American Tourist in Acapulco. If you read the news accounts, the person shot was a 34 year old mail married to a Mexican National and living in the town of Coyuca de Benites which is almost an hour outside of Acapulco. The wife reporter here husband was out shopping at 10PM. "Shopping" for what? Drugs maybe? The body was found with a rifle that had discharged several rounds. This doesn't sound like a tourist getting shot. Sounds like an expat on a drug run!
@leventhald Well leventhald, if you'd put down to peyote buttons and read the papers, you would know that the Mexican army has recanted its story, admitted that it killed an innocent man and then placed a rifle in his hand to cover the incident. A Mexican Army officer has been indicted.
That's nice. I'm glad you FEEL safer in Mexico. Now how does that relate to the actual, measurable safety of Mexico? Can you provide us with crime statistics of the US and Mexico so there can be some kind of empirical measurement?
Thank you for your poorly thought-out and erroneous comment. This is NOT your video. Watch it from beginning to end and you will see that it is a parody of your video.
