I'm not from Australia so I don't know of many uni's, how does U C compare to other colleges in Australia? Does it have a good reputation when it comes to getting a job?

@Noimnotthatguy UC is not among the top 10 ranked universities in australia. it's an alright uni for a degree. cheaper than most of the better known ones as well.

Pan and Zoom huh? Doozy of an effect... Well over used though. I think this would be acceptable for a high school video... wait, I did do this in high school.

This doesn't do the university justice. The best part about this video is the title pun with the "What do 'U' 'C' " but thats just poor grammer.

Kudos on the finale with the sped up writing, that bit was good but also not original.

There were more Kangaroo's in this video too which is definitely not unique to UC.

Boring shots with bad windows movie maker titles. The message it sends to prospective students: UC is a ghost town of a university teaching and encouraging sloppy media production skills. If UC is about 'the people, the culture, and the environment' why not demonstrate that in the video?

did not even know most of these places existed and this is my 2nd year studying at UC... i love our uni and this just makes me appreciate it more, ill need to go on a little expedition around and check everything out

To be honest, this video screams 'poor' from the dodgy camera work to the 'cheapo' windows movie maker effects --- unless of course you were going for that kind of thing?

This video in particular (I haven't seen the others) makes me cringe somewhat and definitely does not convince that anyone should attend this University --- even though I agree with some of the points you were saying at the end, it (sadly) just doesn't show..

As you say, Uni is about people! But where are they in this ghost town ? Lets see the vibrancy, the activity. Including the sports.

The quick pics at the end are just too quick to make any sense or value. Need to slow that bit down.

Well, if it's all about the people, how come the place looks like a complete ghost town for the first 80% of the video (apart from the roos and rabbits, and I think one lonely soul!). We need to see the vibrancy of the people, the activity.

also, the rapid flick through of photos at the end is just too quick. Slow that down a bit please!

Yeah. I like the pics too. Went around my uni snapping pictures of the everyday places and things that happen. Would have loved to add more pictures but didn't because I ran out of time.
