"Shift" was broadcast in prime time and aired many of YTV's most popular shows. Some of "Shift's" programming included ReBoot, Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Beasties, and Goosebumps. Shift was hosted by Aashna and Paul. It was dropped in favour of extending "The Zone" by one hour
i dont remember this. but for all you people that are talking about hit list, i used to watch that at night.i was afraid of muchmusic for sum reason XD
i really wished that i had taped all the stuff they use to air .. i remember watching hit list like all the time like crazzie more than muchmusic .. and the shift was live too XD
Thats exactly what it was, it was a programming block from 6-9 with Paul and Aashna...but rarely were they both on at the same time (which sucked cause they made the Breakfast Zone amazing)
Now usually, I'm tolerant of other people's opinions. But you should pull your fucking head out of your ass before making retarded accusations like that.
i wouldn't even bother to reply to this numbnutt... seeing how his arguement is basically a lack-lustre statement, and if we were to break it down (not enough characters here for that), we can easily revert it back to him being a deprived child, gravely neglected by his mother, and years for this attention from more affeminite males... that, or he's an ignorant, flaming douchehole...
I'm sure I must've still been watching ytv in 1997 (always watched student bodies) but I don't remember this. I recognize Paul Mcguire but I only ever remember him doing the segment that came on in the morning and then The Zone.
Where there's a years there's always a shift.

If you watch YTV now, they play a recording of Aashna singing the National Anthem. It's on every morning at 6 am.

YTV Shift was the evening programing block which ran in the mid 1990s, from 1995-1997, and was cancelled in favour of extending The Zone by an hour.

I Don't think Corus realised that these logo's were very popular. They should have stuck with them...
