ID Cards would be great.

I'll get half a dozen as soon as it comes out and get benefits from each one.....

I cant make up my mind on being for or against the ID cards.

I like the idea of it being a deterent for illegal workers and an effective method tracking people, also it may be a good way at securing tax and encourage more paying in to the country.

I am unconvinced about it fighting terrorism effectivly, I think it will help to an extent. It is also dangerous I feel to have all that data in one central system. COST! it is going to be insane!

I'm not to sure??

Benetton wanted to put spychips into ladies underwear.

So as you walked into their store, the floor would read you and know the colour and size of your knickers.

Even the ex head of MI5 Stella Rimmington has said that ID cards won't stop terrorism.

If your passport wont stop terrorist, neither will the ID card.

So why spend the money on something that we know will fail??

Yep good vid and your right, IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH TERRORISM! If it did we would have them by now i.e after 9/11-7/7. It has nothing to do with crime. We now have more police, PCSO, cctv, stop checks etc in our society, but the gov tells us that crime is rising all the time. Good video. good points. But I don't think you understand encryption or RFID. RFID is just a way of transmitting data, kida similar to wifi but for much smaller amounts of data. Those data (data is a plural) can be hashed, like encryption but can not be reversed, you can not get the plain text back (the cypher drops data) so if this is used then a system could be highly secure. Which is more dangerous. what you are refering to is myfaire 48
