Jimmy you cant know how much this song moved me! We all know major toms a junkie! This song means something to me, I lost a very close friend to a cocaine overdose in the 80's, she alway loved this song! This rendition is beautiful. You put a depth of feeling on this that even Bowie couldnt. I love this. Straight to favorites! You are a genius!

In my view the images blend quite naturally and fully complement this peculiar story of alienation and estrangement, particularly in light of Bowie's subsequent suggestion that Major Tom was a junkie. Well, I tried to work having the "Ashes to ashes" lyrics in mind where's

revealed that M.T. is a ...junkie.

He might not neccesarily be a drug junkie but addicted to fame or to

just his personal icon. This can isolate, the same way with drugs, anyone; whilst the mass observes and "build" the public opinion following

its classic blabby manners.
