Poor Sylvanas. When I gave her sister's amulet, I felt bad giving it to her when she got angry at me. At first she was happy, but when she realized she was undead she got furious with me and threw the amulet down. I felt like I hurt her when this happened and she called the spirits and sings an ancient song about the Sin'dori to calm her. After that she picked it up and it was nothing but silence between me and her for a long time....

I know this has been said lots of times, but she is an undead high elf. Blizz didn't really feel like making a highelf body so at first she was based off of a night elf then late bc or early woltk they changed her to a blood elf figure to make her more horde like.

@HoTLink2006155 Banshees have always been around, but you don't get to use them before Sylvanas becomes a banshee. Sylvanas attempted to protect the sunwell against Arthas and did a good job, and therefore, Arthas turned Sylvanas to a banshee rather than letting her die.

Here's how the Elf Family Tree goes...They all started as Night Elves. Every single Elf. Then the Sundering came, and some of the Night Elves sailed to the Eastern Kingdoms and became the High Elves. Then the Sunwell was tainted by The Scourge, and some of the High Elves fled and hid among the Alliance, while the others converted into Kael'Thas's Blood Elves. Sylvannas was born and raised as a High Elf

@renzgambit21 It's technically, not graduating. A High Elf is a Highbourne Night Elf. Meaning, a Night Elf cannot just become a High Elf, you must be born one. Though they started out as regular night elves, they had been transformed by the magic flowing through their veins. Physically, and racially. They're not one in the same. Think of it this way, if a High Elf is a father, or mother of a Elf child, that child is automatically a high elf. Same thing with the Blood Elves.

High elves and Night elves are two different races, but still elves nonetheless. Blizz used a night elf skin for Sylvanas back then because they were too lazy to make new stuff (as usual) and recycled a model. GO TO THE WARCRAFT WIKI SITE and read up on lore, people! Blood elves are high elves, high elves are blood elves. The only difference is they changed their name to remember the horrific events that occured to them.

Then a transformation occurred that caused her to become undead. Yes, when The Lich King lost some of his powers from not finding Ner'Zhul, some/most of the Scourge were freed from his grasp.
