Wow! ur awesome and like REALLY REALLY talented at violin. i mean, some people, good at math or science most are just natrully talented. they dont have to practice for hours to be good at it.
also, she may be more left-sided in the brain then right which means shes more creactive (music, art) than academic (school).
CBG- Actually right hemespere lateralization is most commonly associated with creativity and logic, not the left. This theory is a generalization so it shouldn't be used in in a specific sense. The only way to tell which hemesphere an individual dominantly thinks with is through neuroimaging (a brain scan).
Back to what's important, this young violinist is truly amazing and inspiring! Thank you for posting her concert footage for all of us to enjoy and appreciate :)
i mean there's a video of her when she's ten playing Lalo Symphonie Espagne. When you have someone whoh's only been playing 3 or 4 yrs. playing pieces like that, they're practicing 5-6 hrs. a day, if not 7.
prolly not 5-7 hrs a day. more realistically would be 3-4 hrs a day. she also probably practices more efficiently which mean she doesn't take up as much time. and it's not all about practicing. lol some ppl are just rediculously talented and take less time to pick up things . . . such as violin
i realize it's poosible to have a life outside of violin. I play two instruments, violin and piano, take voice lessons, participate in outside orchestras, and participate in drama club. I have a life too.
but being able to play the Accolay concerto (which isn't too hard) after only playing 3 yrs. of violin is pretty impressive. I don't know what instruments you play, but after only 3 yrs. i was playing songs like Humoresque, not concertos. She must practice a lot
it's amazing how musical she is at only 9 yrs. old! i feel bad though, she must practice everyday, all day. There's no way she can be that good at only 9 and have any life outside of violin.
its possible to have a life outside violin. I play 3 instruments, sing, am a lead in a musical, take all honors classes and though I am busy, I have a life.
it's like those people that are naturally amazing at math or any other subject. Perhaps she's naturally gifted at the violin. There are plenty of people who are amazing musicians, spend a lot of their time dedicated to their work, and still have a life. Just cause she's so good at a young age doesn't mean she wastes away every hour practicing alone in her room ^^; I'm sure she's able to balance the violin and her social life.
yeah u wana know how to get this good, go open your pockets, get a good teacher, pracitce 1+ hours a day, and buy susuki books, im a firm beiliver in susuki!
i agree susuki is very good to start basic fundimentals but once u get to like book 6 or 7 u can move to different pieces...and its not just practicing 1 hr and having a good teacher..it's about putting effort and concentration in that hour and if u have a teacher listen and pay attention wats she is telling u ..if u have a crappy one well change..but ya that my opionion..
She'll do great things. There's no doubt about that. Bravo Ladusa! What grade is she in, anyway? Hope she's about my age, we could have been great friends if she went to my school. Maybe. =D
The Accolay is a fine work with strong melodic as well as technical elements for its level, one of many on the way to developing the skills to perform more challenging repertoire.
It's absolutely asinine to believe that someone cannot "manifest their talent" through a work of music because it isn't a major concerto. An artist paints with whatever brush is available, and with works like the Accolay, simplicity inspires creativity!
The technical difficulty of a pieces does not determine its merit. Twinkle Twinkle Little Star is technically easy, but there is a reason that everyone plays it some point in their life on almost every instrument!
And there really is not any boring music, only boring musicians.
Bravo! Although this concerto is beautiful but I think your great talents cannot possibly manifest through this student type of concerto. I'm looking forward to viewing some real concertizing one from you. You're a prodigy by any standard. The pianist is a virtuoso!!!
Great!!!

Please read "cannot" as "can".
The pianist is a viruoso herself so that she is really giving you supports and that takes lots of control.
