  • I don't eat white bread, so I'm not sure where you saw it. I think it may have been in the freezer... Chris eats it - he doesn't like whole grain! LOL! But, yes, whole grain is better because it's not processed like white, making it more natural to digest and absorb. It keeps you fuller for longer and has far more nutrients. But you can eat white in moderation. If so, make sure you have protein with it so it prevents insulin spike. Thanks so much for your comments and for watching! XO

  • is it true thats its better 2 eat whole bread than white bread

  • Don't leave your olive oil with the cap off or in direct sunlight because it can be converted into sat fat and will no longer be a good fat for you.

  • That's interesting! Thanks for the tip and for watching!

  • Just want to note, saturated fat (not just transfat) is also something we should always be on the lookout for! Love your videos. :)

  • Very true!! Thanks for that - I will remember to mention that more often in my recipe episodes : ) Thanks so much for watching!!

  • Ha ha ha !!! im a body builder jen. I need protein Lol ! By the way jen i have a good tip for ya on your protein pancakes. Mix bananas into it. This gives it a burst of flavor and makes it feel soft and not crunchy in between. Very delicious:) And also thanks for your grocery guide. I ll keep that in mind. Cheers !

  • Yes, bananas are great in them!! Blueberries, too : )

  • The canned fruit is such an awesome idea...I completely forgot it existed. I always bought fresh produce and it would go bad in a 3 or 4 days and end up in the trash.

    Thanks for the tips!

  • Thanks for watching! The best thing to do to get yourself back on track is to get your eating schedule and food choices back to what they were before the holiday splurge. Some of that weight may also be water-retention because most "bad" foods contain high amounts of sodium. That may have caused you to put on more water. Just focus on smaller goals per week and you should be back to your old self within 3 weeks time : )
