I was there...and I don't even know who I really fought...I know most were sent back to cuba and russia from the P.O.W. camp we had at Point Salines...99% of the people I saw smiled and waved at me and I really liked all the people I talked to....they liked us being there....

people like me don't make choices or decisions on how things go down...we do what we are told and hope for the best....everyone who I met as a local and old timer from Grenada really seemed glad we were there and I always carry a good feeling when I think of Grenada and how perhaps I actually helped make someones life turn out better....it's about all a soldier can hope for that is good about a combat action because all the rest of war sucks
