  • Seismic Toss looks so comical.

  • i'm afraid of big pokemons :x

  • what does snatch?

  • @haunterandgengar If the opponent uses a move to power up themselves, such as Swords Dance, then Snatch will go first, and the user of Snatch will get the power-up instead.

  • What does Magic Coat do again?

  • @ALoserIsFred If a Pokémon gets targeted by a non-damaging move the turn it uses Magic Coat, that move is canceled out and reflected back at the user. An example would be Dark Void on Darkrai.

  • ha! ha! go cry

  • Wow...both Manetric and Houndoom get critical hits, become paralyzed, and survive because of focus sash. Coincidence?

  • @lewa18 Plus, two dogs!

  • Damn, you'r right :P Forgot that ^^ I was thinking it was steel and rock

  • I dont see why you used rock polisjh as steelix when you knew that milktank had thunder wave? But he did switch out anyways, so it doesnt matter that much.

  • Remember that Steelix is a Ground-type and is thus immune to Thunder Wave.

  • HAHA Steelix went through the building at 2:49 during Seismic Toss

  • i hjave a question im making my team and i need a fire pokemon. im wondering if i should just evolve my vulpix or get an exploud and teach it flamethrower or fireblast

  • It really depends on the rest of your team. You should pick whatever fits in better. The big thing to consider is if you have a lot of Pokémon weak to Fighting. If so, avoid Exploud and put in Vulpix or Ninetales.

  • well right now i have a toxicroak a rotom a bibarell a togekiss a torterra and sorar thats about it....i dont have that muxch weakness to fighting i dont think

  • good thing u gave in theres no point in going further besides milktank was strong agansed mantric so good thing she did

  • Good battle! Too bad you lost. Oh, and Seismic Toss looks so funny on PBR (I think it's not only on PBR, though) Oh, and I really liked the Daredevil nickname for Vigoroth. Toobad we didn't see him. But I wonder what Jinzo, which is a robot, has to do with Chatot. Anyway, great vid, as always

  • Wow, you got lucky with those para hax.

  • I'm not sure if that was sarcastic or not...

  • Because I know when my opponent has checkmated me. There's no point in going any further, and there's no shame in surrendering.

  • lol ive always wanted to see a battle between houndoom and manetric! maybe mightyena and ninetales. and all four in a double battle!

  • You're forgetting Granbull and Arcanine. Though technically, Mightyena is a hyena and Ninetales is a kitsune.

  • shiiiiit. need to get this.

  • yay that guy had 2 of my favorite pokemon houndoom and exploud

  • dark pulse looks amazing!

  • Seismic Toss looks awsum!

  • "Part of a winning strategy is knowing when to withdraw."

  • although i hate miltank it has to be one of the funniest things on pokemon battle revolution, cause it jumps and skips like a graceful dancer...guess miltank hasn't noticed that its a giant fat cow :P -_-

  • Or maybe Miltank isn't ashamed of it.

  • true. im skinny and im not ashamed of it at all

  • Hmmm, they really messed up with that Miltank moveset...Blissey is really the only pokemon that can pull it off well.

  • ignore it about being manlier or not. you are brave enough posting your own give ups.

  • It comes from Pokémon battles?

  • You think this is about manliness?

  • yeah and the strange thing is Jinzo is a Human like card and Chatot is a Bird - i would name Jynx after Jinzo lol

  • Looks like an above discussion stated that "jinzo" means "robot." So if there's anything you'd name "Jinzo," it'd be Magnezone.

  • i think he means the yu gi oh card

  • It looks like Hogarth has a BIG weakness...dark types rendering it completely dependent on its support moves that also depend on the opponent's moves good try though.

  • I had already anticipated that when I made the moveset. Hogarth is meant as a starter or a late-game finisher.

  • he's a guy

  • Sorry i said heracross i meant metagross lol

  • nice battle...i have received wi-fi yesterday i am so exicted did some battles won evrything exept one...the one i lost i was like...omg...the guy killed me using only a pokemon

  • What else could you have lost to? It's not like the other Trainer comes into the field and punches your Trainer in the face.

  • I understood it that he meant the guy swept him with ONE pokemon. *shrug*

  • Wow she was creaming you... *no offense*

Things got real interesting when both your hounds were paralyzed and down to 1 HP. I was chewing my nails saying "Whose gonna move first?"

  • more power to UU teams :)

  • Sweet! This game looks excellent.

  • Nice Battle ^^

Well there are many people here on youtube that I wanna fight against(your one of them ;P), but I have not WI-FI yet :( so wich means, I must be patient.

So have fun with your Games ;D

  • Haha, yeah, sorry about this, I imagine you're probably asleep now, but I sent you a bunch of messages about how I couldn't see you online again, I hope you've got them as you didn't seem to be getting them earlier, otherwise I wouldn't have signed off PBR.

I blame Youtube if you didn't get them =/

  • Perhaps next time, you set the battle conditions. I always see you as "Standing by..." but if you set the conditions, I can click at your bar and start the match.

  • Sure, I'll give it a try, but I figured that it wouldn't work considering I couldn't see you.

  • Well, just don't set it up next weekend, as I'll be working on a project that'll take up Friday through Sunday.

  • good match hey overhazard how long hav u been playin these pkmn games your good

  • My first Pokémon game was Pokémon Pinball, which is probably pretty odd. I played a few matches against friends up until Gold/Silver. Then, they got bored with it. I had played Pokémon by myself until the online matches you see here.

  • Nice battle overhazard! I just had a question. I have a lvl 7 spiritomb with modest nature, and i battled like 65 budews already and he has pokerus and the power item for special atk. WHen i battle him i get 1 Sp Atk point but gets doubled by pokerus and doubled again with the power item. Is that correct? I really need to know. thanks!

    -~SirLectro~-

  • OH YEAH! I put 2 exp shares on 2 pokemon and switched between all my six pokemon. SO does that mean, i have 255 evs on my sp atk stat?

    -~Sirlectro~-

  • Assuming your Spiritomb was hatched from Level 1 and you put it in a few battles to get him to Level 7, you already have a few scattered EVs on Spiritomb.

You get 10 EV points for every Budew you defeat if Spiritomb has both the PokéRus and the Power Lens. The Power Lens adds 4 EVs to Special Attack to make it 5. Then, the PokéRus doubles that to make it 10.

That means you already have maximum EVs in Special Attack on your 26th Budew. Every Budew after that gives you nothing.

  • Well, i think i accidentally battled a trainer when goign in front of it when spiritomb was in front so only like 65 budews and 1 other pokemon. Thanks!!!

    -~SirLectro~-

  • Just as a side note to SirLectro you should probably do 252 Sp.Att. If you do that for both of the stats that you EV train in, you'll have 4/6 extra you can use in another stat and have the same thing as you would with 255 EVs

  • Good battle, just some bad luck with the matchups, I rooted for you when you got the crit and paralyze on Houndoom. Good stuff.

  • Good job battling! You're battles are awesome! I learn alot of watching battles like these x3

    Hope to see more!

  • =^O

I am very excited to see Miltank being used! I was beginning to think I was one of the only ones who used the girl. I never see it, but it is such a great battler (and it's extremely cute)! I guess it is just overshadowed by Blissey, that people find the ole cow to be "just another Pokemon". But this here is nice to see, and I like the way she was used.

This was a great battle. It made me happy. :)

  • this person lokked tough

  • Miltank definitely has great potential. It was in OU at one point, though Miltank largely and quickly fell out of usage. I think it was Snorlax who overshadowed Miltank over time.

I had been thinking about Miltank for a while, but I can't figure out how to properly integrate her into a team. She's also difficult to breed, being a gender-exclusive Pokémon.

  • I'm currently trying to revamp my Miltank's moveset to make her more effective (the same goes for nearly the rest of my team), but I just can't find the TMs. I think I may start my team over since they're not EV trained well, but yes, Miltank has so many uses, and the Scrappy ability is defintely worth something.

Was it Snorlax? I assumed Blissey since they both play similar roles. It makes sense though. There are just so many Normal types out there that it's easy for some to be dropped.

  • Blissey can't replace Miltank, as their strategies are entirely different. Miltank relies on resilience and physical strength; Blissey is more as a wall who abuses Natural Cure. That is, you can use Miltank to sweep or at least deal a lot of direct damage while healing away. The latter, Snorlax can do too. Blissey, not so much. Unless you'd use a Serene Grace Blissey, which relies on Special Attack and is different.

Blissey did severely steal Miltank's thunder as a support Pokémon, however.

  • About the breeding issue related to Miltank being only female, Miltank belongs in the Ground Egg Group, right? If so, then you can use a male Smeargle to help give a newborn Miltank the egg moves that you want, right?

  • Breeding the moves onto the Pokémon isn't the problem. The moves they can learn are accomodated for that. I just hate having to put up with the "They don't seem to like each other too much" egg production frequency.

Usually, as a last step for breeding, I breed two of the same species together so I can get my Eggs quickly. I can't do that with Miltank...

So I guess the word I was looking for is "annoying," not "difficult."

  • I have to deal with that "they don't seem to like eachother much" stuff very often, but nevertheless, I still get my eggs through sheer persistence. (Sometimes, I get as many as a whole boxful of them.) In my case, I just ride up and down Solaceon Town and the 2 routes that are connected to it while waiting for new eggs to be produced.

  • That's what I do too. It simply annoys me. If I havew to put up with it, I will. In most cases, I don't.

  • I had the same problem breeding Metagross! And I wasn't sure who to give the Everstone to, given the peculiar gender roles involved with it and Ditto...

  • For the record, if you're breeding with Ditto, the Everstone always goes to Ditto.

  • What do Everstones have to do with breeding?

  • Everstones are important to most breeders, If they are held by the female the baby has a 50% chance of having the females nature,

In dittos case and metagross if you are breeding ditto with heracross and gave them noth a everstone the everstone will always only work with ditto so the baby pokemon will only have the chance to take from the ditto

  • Well, the Jinzo you see in Yu-Gi-Oh! is short for "Jinzoningen," which means "artificial human" (in other words, a robot). I don't know what the "jinzo" part means, but "nin" means "human," if it helps. (Probably doesn't...)

  • jinzo does mean robot in japanese. so u had the right idea. but its still weird on a chatot.

  • Yeah, that's why I said, "Probably doesn't." I have no idea what Chatot has to do with robots either.

  • w00t manectric!!! it's one of my favs lol
