EmTec is still available, used to be called BASF and is pretty good in 3 different oxide types.

Tascam ms16 one inch. We made our first record on that in 1985.

That's actually a Tascam 85-16b! The precursor to the MS16, it had a different transport (the MS16 shared its transport with the ATR60-16) and I believe totally different electronics. Great machines, though.
