@htfamily I agree, it wasn't very nice for tyrannosaurus to try and eat the baby dinosaur, but no dinosaurs were actually harmed in the making of this video.

Thanks for the compliment and I also agree with your criticism. Jurassic Playground was shot with a Sony prosumer hi 8mm camcorder of late 90s vintage, and was only capable of shooting 5 video frames per each motion change, so it was hard to pace it correctly even in post with an NLE. I have since upgraded to a Panasonic HVX200 and also have a good Sony DSLR, so when I get back into production with new cartoons, I will try to emulate a proper stop motion frame rate. Thanks...Charles Evans
The real charm of this fairy tale is in the use of plastic action figures in banal and bizarre ways.... keep 'em short, Charles, and you will have a franchise! THANKS!
Thanks for you comment 12wonge, and it was well taken. I agree and I do have plans to build my own figures eventually for a series of folktale stories I want to tell. My next few videos will have to rely on the plastic action figures, but as you point out, they aren't really the best suited for stop motion.
Thanks for the comment--I think if you watch Part 2 and 3 of Jurassic Playground you'll notice an improvement in my technique. The new batch of cartoons should be even better.
Thanks for the comment, theknowbody. Stop motion animation is time consuming, but at least the dinosaurs are willing to work at all hours. The area where the films are made recently experienced minor flooding, but we're almost ready to get back on track with some new animation bits. I will post them as soon as they are ready....Thanks again for your interest. It's really appreciated....Charles Evans
