Could you imagine the wait for the car to show up again? Youd have to wait 5 minutes to see the BMW for about 15 seconds... Oh well, it is a fun track to drive in Gran Turismo :-).

5 minutes? How about more like high 6 minutes? The record is 6:11 on this track. Not any F1 car has been able to beat that record.

it was set by a porsche dog and an f1 car could beat it but its nick heidefeld... nuff said

The Nurburgring is an open road during weekdays. I drove it back in the mid 1970's in a FIAT127 chasing what I thought was a stunning blonde female driving a Triumph Spitfire. Absolutely flat out, I lost the Spitfire and slowed down. I later saw it parked in the Forest and the driver turned out to be a long haired Dutchman who was urinating up a tree!

@crazysteve1986 Indeed, Especially now the no fuel refills have taken effect, and lets face it, with the fact that the track is so damn long you wont even need a safety car, (or just in sections if the accident still hasn't been cleared or summut y'know.

You'd only need to do 13 laps to do a full GP. 11 if you include the Current GP circuit which you can link with the Nordschleife (I've seen it done in rFactor and seen it on Google maps so it is actually possible)
