Poor Rodney RIP .. I was reading that he suffered from DEPRESSION all his life.. If a man that funny - the life of the party has issues with Depression, what hope is there for the rest of us??..
@yellowcougar18 Yeah like Dane Cook........... Although all is not lost in today's comics. We still have people like Patton Oswalt, Ricky Gervais, Stephen Merchant, Karl Pilkington, Louis C.K., Chris Rock, Katt Williams, Jerry Seinfeld, etc.
@ThePaintedOddity82 Dane Cook may be bad, but he's nothing on Carlos Mencia and his stealing ways, or Denis Leary, who may or may not be stealing jokes/ an act.
Greg Giraldo, in a clip on youtube, called him out one time on it. Leary looked like a guy who was about to go psycho but couldn't because the cameras were there.

I agree, all is not lost, but here is hoping Rock starts working on material too. Because since he started working with Sandler, his work has gone down enormously.
I would like to suggest the addition of Lewis Black and John Pinette to your list. I also enjoy the members of the "Blue Collar Comedy tour" some more than others. Jeff Dunham is another one I like to watch. And.....Relax......Jay Leno and George Lopez. I don't have enough room here to explain why I like each one. If you'd like I will explain one at a time if you give me a name. but yes Rodney is the King to bad he is gone like a lot of other great comics such as Jackie Gleason!
@Jasonms1978 Jackie Gleason was articulate (sp?) in a sense that he made sure that the Honeymooners had the right look. He knew of such because he grew up like that. Literally. They would always get curtains that people sent in for the show and he'd turn them away, telling them to give them to people less fortunate. So good on him.
