  • Sie ist gut wie immer, aber in der italienischen Originalsprache ( reverenza ) klingt es natürlich noch viel besser!

  • The best! Love her Salomes

  • Outstanding - both!

  • Welsh, not English, was Geraint's native tongue. He had to learn English in school in West Wales. Let's not forget that Wales has its own language.

  • This is fantastic! The translation is not too bad, and the singers English diction is fantastic. Evans and Resnik were great singeing actors and two of the greatest interpretors of these roles. It is great to see them acting (and in their native language as well).. I certainly think Verdi would have approved. He was so concerned with the text of his operas and the audiences understanding the drama that he would have wanted the audience to hear this in a language they would understand.

  • WOW! That was spectacular. Where did this come from, I NEED the video?

  • Magnificent! The way she dots the rhythm in 'but her husband is jealous,' her body language - the whole package is without

    equivalent. Brava diva!

  • It really should be sung in Italian, the way it was written.

  • Right. In italian it is even better.

  • I agree.

    But this is special!!

  • I share the name :)

    Geraint Evans

  • Sir Geraint Evans is my great uncle. this is the first time i've seen him sing. really good! ^^

  • She is excellent

  • What a remarkable perfomance! Wonderful to hear the language sung so clearly--of course, it is the artists' native tongue.

  • so weird in english
