@iLivenAmurica Like any stock, not really. Unless it is a dogleg of sorts the mask itself usually keeps your face from being able to get down low enough.
i have a quick question, im looking to buy a mp5 stock for my a5 and the store i purchase from only has a one with what looks like a lever on the bottom of the stock that would move it, i am wondering if it will still be a good stock to buy..
HEY HUSTLE! you guys rock thanks for all the help so far.
question: Will I be able to put it into the ''flush" (collapsed) position with the Lapco offset sight rail attached. I have the lapco offset sight rail and have a red dot and flashlight mounted on. Would the stocks rails interfere? Please let me know thanks
@HustlePaintball Thanks alot, do you think I would be able to cut some length off the stocks rails so that I could attach the stock but always leave it in the collapsed position?
is this stock durable? my friend had on like this on his tippmann and it seemed real loose and flimsy, not stable no matter how much he tightened it. any suggestions?
@THEJDMLIFE Yes, it is durable. Versus a solid stock it may feel flimsy because it is lighter and collapsible but does have the bracing that you'll need for your marker.
@HustlePaintball Tippmann recommends Hoppes 9 Gun oil. Hoppes 9 gun oil is included in parts kits as well as new Tippmann markers in the oil packets. The key is to use an oil that does not include solvents of any kind.
Paintball oil and Pneumatic tool oil will also work.
@asnmonkey6969 awesome i just stripped clean my marker and used hoppes 9 gun oil and then that comment up there had me trippen. "NO, USE PAINTBALL OIL" psh gun oil works just the same. thanks for this confirmation.
Make sure that you have your spring guide in your main spring, and everything is re-assembled correctly. You might want to clean and oil up your internals lightly as well.
are you able to see down the sights with a mask using this stock?

Eyyy. Damn using a mallet is more safer.

@Sticerify This is an upgrade that we have not carried and have no experience with but it seems like a pretty straightforward installation.

only on a tippmann would anyone recommend using a hammer to attach something
Snakebiteloo 4 months ago
@Snakebiteloo Tippmann markers are rare in that they can actually take the abuse from a hammer and still fire reliably :)

does this work on the new A-5, or any additional rail?
terminator363 7 months ago
@terminator363 It does work on the new A5.
HustlePaintball 7 months ago
@HustlePaintball
I heard it does not fold on the 2011 version.
terminator363 7 months ago
@terminator363 The sliding stocks do not have any issues on the new 2011 A5 marker. That part of the casing was not altered.

@HustlePaintball
I have a small rail attached though.
terminator363 7 months ago
@terminator363 If your rail is a side-mount rail, then it will definitely interfere. What kind of rail do you have?
HustlePaintball 7 months ago
@HustlePaintball It's a straight vertical rail but it holds on to the weaver part not the dovetail part.
terminator363 7 months ago
@terminator363 Sounds like it could be a close call - you might want to email us a picture so that we can verify for sure if this will fit or not.

@613inferno We have tried this exact configuration and the rails of the stock will collide with the Lapco offset.

613inferno 8 months ago
@613inferno You could, but that would almost make the point in having a stock null and void.

do the sliding stocks fit the new 2011 model A5??
jigzaw047 10 months ago
@jigzaw047 The sliding stocks all work well with the 2011 A5.

I got a new stock for my birthday can I take off the sliding stock?
uin014 10 months ago
@uin014 Yes, just remove the 2 pins where the stock attaches to the marker. The Metadyne stock will come with a replacement baseplate.
HustlePaintball 10 months ago
Will it fit on the Tippmann A5 with RT because of the extra tube on the right side?
bagofbones11 11 months ago
@bagofbones11 That will not interfere, it will work on the A5 response.
HustlePaintball 11 months ago
it works with the new A5 tippmann?
Lucagupi 11 months ago
@Lucagupi Yes, Tippmann did not change their stock design for the A5 with their new 2011 design.

if i had to hammer that stock pin like that...I'll wonder how would i get it out when i need to clean up my gun.
Keyholder79 1 year ago 3
@Keyholder79 Probably with a punch tool and hammer. I would be hesistant of a stock that requires a hammer for installation though.

how difficult is it to uninstall after hammering the bolt in?

Not difficult at all - Just hit the pin out w/ a hammer (use a punch or screwdriver, and hit it with the hammer to drive that pin back out)
