  • Well, so many options that would affect the price, but just to give you an idea....F9 housing, all TJ/LJ brackets mounted, 35 spline axle package, low pinion 3rd. member with gears of your choice, 35 spline Detroit locker, nodular gear case, pinion support & yoke and fully assembled would run just shy of $3900.00.

  • what would a fully assembled F9 cost for my Jeep LJ?

  • Yeah, the housing center is all laser cut, then CNC bent, then hand welded.

  • Great video! It's always cool to see how something is made. How is the housing made though? Laser cut, water jet, plasma? CNC press brake or stamping?

  • When the video got done and it was so long we thought of editing it, but, that was my thought exactly....someone who is interested in what goes into one of these things will be interested to watch the whole thing! Kind of like a "how it's made". It gives someone who is considering investing in high-end axle a documentary to watch so that they can see in detail what they will be getting.

  • ok so thats why axles are so expensive... i had no idea the work involved in completing a "good" axle...

  • Way Cool! 8-)
