True about the water...any pilot will tell ya that the engine automatically sounds like it's running rough as soon as you lose sight of land, assuming your flying a single of course

Mooney has it on king for whom I assume theyre targeting. The Acclaim type S cruises at FL250@241 knots while burning, book value, 22 or so gph, and at 203, with proper leaning, can see numbers in the extremely low teens for fuel burn unlike these 37gph/side fuel eaters. The mooney is the best personal craft IMO.

@the934x4 I also like the Mooney, but it can never match the comfort of the King Air. Also that second engine sure makes you comfortable over long stretches of water!

I'll beg to differ. Perhaps nothing to to with the technical specifics of the aircraft. However, this romanticized commercial is to help captivate the one who would purchase or operate this "safe, capable etc" aircraft to give them the freedom to do what they please. I think its sort of told from an owner AND pilot perspective.
