True about the water...any pilot will tell ya that the engine automatically sounds like it's running rough as soon as you lose sight of land, assuming your flying a single of course
Mooney has it on king for whom I assume theyre targeting. The Acclaim type S cruises at FL250@241 knots while burning, book value, 22 or so gph, and at 203, with proper leaning, can see numbers in the extremely low teens for fuel burn unlike these 37gph/side fuel eaters. The mooney is the best personal craft IMO.
@the934x4 I also like the Mooney, but it can never match the comfort of the King Air. Also that second engine sure makes you comfortable over long stretches of water!
My dad is the one who was flying the king air 350 for this video. you actually see him in it pre flighting the airplane and walking the passengers out in the blue shirt
u don't know what too say this airplane is just amazing and it haves everything i think you and me would wish.. Besides it is being a prop i thing Beechraft Should be the best Prop Creator in the world but well let's say that jets are better but the best jet i thing i want in my life would be the learjet 45 aniversarry Edition
This is an awesome ad and a beautiful plane. This is that way commercials should be made but I guess not all products are this magical! Loved it, well done!!
Wow. You have issues. I'm a pilot who spends plenty of time in expensive airplanes. I have NO problem with people reaping great rewards for their effort. I still think the commercial is absurd and you can go straight to therapy.
For every company you hear about destroying peoples lives while riding around in million dollar jets, there are many companies who have not only retained their employees, but donate their aircraft to transporting children with cancer to treatment centers. Google Corporate Angel Network. Many business owners feel if they paid their dues to become successful, and they treat their employees fair, then nobody has the right to criticize them on how they travel on the aircraft they worked so hard for.
Lovely airplane to fly in...but what an absurd commercial! It probably marks the exact top of the insane bubble we are now suffocating under the saggy remains of. "Self-actualization and family joy through a multi-million dollar business tool." Yeah, right.
raytheon raped the Beech distributors...i was there at the death of Beech...ever heard of the starship???...Walter never built an airplane unless is was already purchased...raytheon used numerical masturbation to flood the market with unwanted planes...the once icon of the industry has turned into a corporate shell of its former greatness...and btw...your mom loves my joystick in her tight cockpit.
Well done commerical for its time. Selling isn't only about the product - its the emotional connection to the product. This commecial is right on. Ad intended for those who can purchase this beautiful airplane - they are smart enough to get it ;-)
I'll beg to differ. Perhaps nothing to to with the technical specifics of the aircraft. However, this romanticized commercial is to help captivate the one who would purchase or operate this "safe, capable etc" aircraft to give them the freedom to do what they please. I think its sort of told from an owner AND pilot perspective.
I totally agree; this is ALL about the plane and what it means to own or fly her.
I'm sure if the same production team (for this commercial ) was to do other aircraft they could do the same good job; but this aircraft sells itself above and beyond all others.
awe man I wish you would have said somthing sooner I just got a new one and left the old one in hawai. this is what a twin engine plane should look like. I agree I love this plane. worked for an oil company that had a couple to move crews around. got to sit in the copilot seat a couple times. Loved it.
I've been looking for this video for years since they took it off the Raytheon site. It's too good!!! However, I want the crisper video version...this one is true inspiration!
I just found this video tonight after looking for an eternity!! I would also like the "high def" version but I have no idea where to even look. This video is inspiring and I don't know why they nuked it from their website.
