I grew up in the 70's and remember quite well when the DOLLS came out they were targeted towards GIRLS!!! This is the second commercial for the first only showed girls and TOYS R US had them in the girl section. I remember quite well for my father refused to buy me a Ace doll in the girls aisle of toys :( Later that year I got my Ace for they put them in the boys section :)
