I believe that we've done enough in Iraq and need to focus on Afghanistan. I believe that everyone should have a right to health care. I believe in Obama's education policy, that simply more competition in schools is not the answer. I support Obama for these reasons and more.

Who is going to pay for everyones health care? The treasury is broke,therefore so is Obama. Haven't you been watching any news? I suppose outcome based education with no grading system is great if you are not too bright. Please do not misrepresent my argument. What I think is dumb about McCain's plan for education is that he would be rewarding the schools that were well funded and well staffed in the first place. Simply being able to change your school will not solve the problem. Not everyone is the same but still everyone deserves an equal education, don't you think?

Where is Obama going to get the money to pay for health care for everyone. And do you think that the quality of care will go up,go down or stay the same? Do you know we are on the verge of a depression? We borrow money from China and China's economy is predicted to grow at 9 % next year. A resession,depression means that our GDP growth is negative. Will Obama borrow more money from China?? Will he "tax the rich"? If I was rich I'd move offshore. And $250,000 isn't rich. People will get laid off

What about all the tax breaks the rich have received under Bush? As Biden said, the rich aren't going to pay any more than they did under Reagan. And $250,000 a year IS pretty rich. That's the top 1.5% of the U.S.

We've already spent 2.3 trillion on health care last year. Obama's plan is estimated to cost around 55 million a year. You do the math.

I believe that health care quality will remain the same. This is not socialism by any standard. Ppl will still pay for their own care, only less.

We have a health care plan in the UK. and in design it flawless. The money to operate it comes from the employed, but it pays for every1.

I think the reason why these things are so exspensive is because people go hospital for silly things and the medication cost so much now.

Not everybody is in the same boat some people don't know what is wrong with them and than find out its a cold. equally some people thinks its just a cold and when its too late find out it more serious.

What i think could be done for both countries is self diagnosis via the internet, or start teaching kids a basic level of body health in school

for example i'm studying sports therapy and have learned lots of common injuries. when i sprain my ankle now i know how to deal with it and i know what i'm looking for in a fracture.

look at it like a street cleaner, if you throw you own rubish in the bin they have less and can clean more streets in a smaller period of time.

if with your science english and maths in school you were also tought a subject called lets say basic health. and in that subject you were tought that diabetics need to take it easy when having a massage, and you were a diabetic and a loved one bought you a mini massager than you would know that when using it you have to take it easy. that will alredy save 1 GP visit.

or after using a PC for hours straighten your back and pull your shoulders back to prevent future back and neck problems.

I've been an athlete and common sence has told me how to treat injuries. ICE etc. I've known when to go to the hospital and when not. Common sence has always taken care of ordinary ailments. But given a choice people will choose a free visit to the clinic,hospital or doctor. Plus it is an excuse to get a day off from work or school. And in socialized gov't medicine the only thing that will keep them out is the long lines and weeks of wait time for procedures. AND BAD DOCTORING.
