I borrowed the permanent, still, and substance CD's from my dad. I've had them for a while and I'll honestly say I borrowed them for love will tear us apart, but songs and singles like that are designed to to get people to listen to more of the band and actually get into them, like me
I just discovered this song last night, now its one of my favorites
I made a cover can you guys check it out and give me your opinion on the accuracy. If you want I'll tab some of it, because a lot is just improvisation. :p
This is directed at you 'don't you hate it when' - go eat a chode. sorry we aren't all as fucking fantastic as you for having heard what heaps of people have actually already heard before you and enjoyed without personal fanfare.
I love this song. It so reminds me of when I was a teen 25 or so yrs ago when i was was strungout at the end with a knife to my own throat. Fuck i love those times. Never tire of this song.
People think of 23 and forget Ians age when he chose the wrong route......just think....well someone did once say be careful what you put in your head because it may never ever leave
I first heard this track from a bootleg with The Warsaw Lp on one side and unreleased demo's out-takes of both Peel sessions on the other side(which were far more live sounding and faster!! Forza Joy Division !!
I fell in Love with Joy Division in 1982 whe I first went to a club in Dublin called the Afro Spot. Everything they did was amazing. In 83 I went to see New Order in the SFX HALL in Dublin. Joy Division are one of a kind. Curtis has passion that other artists can only dream of
it's amazing their sound, it really is, never sounds dated. when i look to joy division their music takes me most places where other artists i love cant reach
dont you hate it when you mention joy division...all people say is love will tear us apart...they need to go back to their canon of work they have so many brilliant tracks.
Thanks for posting this ... Fantastic !! probably my favourite Joy Division song ever - good to hear it here in a slightly 'rawer ' incarnation .. and with some different lyrics !! Ace ...

Why is thier later stuff more focused on bass instead of both like this album?
moviewatcher304 1 year ago
@moviewatcher304 Probably because Peter Hook developed into such an awesome bassist...
phoratio 1 year ago
@moviewatcher304
Because Hooky's bass has a darker sound then Bernard's guitar.

I started to listen to Joy Division 6 years ago, I'm now 19... but back in high school no one knew who the hell they were.
When they got a chance to listen, their minds were blown.
I look back on those days of listening to joy division in the halls of my school and think, 'haha, I was cool'

A past tense and a past participle of spell1.

a LOT of early teens are big into JD and related bands; only the corporate media perpetuates the idea all young people live and breathe rap/hip hop.
