I remember I was playing this one time and i thought the chemical plant zone boss was actually HARD and I beat it finally and the switch for the flicky hopper was missing.

This is my favorite sonic game. Thanks for let's playing it! I know why you don't want to play with Tails following you. He does nothing but get in the way! Why did they up it to 7? simple, because of dbz. the creator loved dbz. 7 dragonballs..7 emeralds..don't believe me? super sonic..when he transforms, it sounds the same as goku when he transforms

not to mention Shadow & Sonic's friendly rival is sorta like Vegeta & Goku (in fact, while the protagonist's hair is normally curved, the rival's hair is normally pointed upwards, like in their Super form, basically, from their rivalry, to even their hair is like what's between Goku & Vegeta)

In the comic it was because releasing the power of the 6 emeralds to create super-sonic was dangerous, so Mighty the Armadillo created a 7th emerald that could harness the power and allow Sonic to keep control, when the 7th emerald shattered in one storyline, Super-Sonic then had to be extracted from Sonic and trapped forever in the special stage because he was too psychotic to be allowed to exist and would endanger everyone.
