@Mocha2007andcoco I DID (key word) have RT2 Platinum. I can't remember all the maps, I know there was N. America, China(as you can see), Europe, Africa, England, British Isles and a lot more others.

I don't care how old this is. That's one of the best games I've ever played, it's awesome in every single way. The grafics are great, the gameplay is perfect, and the maps are so big! I remember one map of Europe, it was huge! From Portugal to Russia... Good Old Times..

How do you make a lot of money in this? I hate when I send my trains off and I'm always having to adjust the cargo, adjust the routes, then they wanna break down and cost months of revenues. I set the cargo to fill halfway but the train still sits there waiting for cargo for like two months, then it goes. Train Simulator my a** & d**k.

I really struggle to play RT 2 and 3.

I can't handle the 3d graphics. I much prefer the completely top down 2D view of the original version.

Anyway, theres nothing wrong with building a huge bridge only that it takes loads of money. SO if you have the money you you can easily build that bridge but if you just go around it you won't lose that much delivery time so making up for the extra costs of that bridge takes a long long time.

desiel is cheaper than electric. electric tracks is quite expensive

Only the SUPER fast trains like meglevor TGV that cost alot to run, theres a yellow locomotive electric is the last electric train I use, released 1972. After 25 years i repleace it because maintence cost will be horrible then.

electrified tracks cost a lot more to build so when low on money i just run diesel trains on normal tracks. When i make more money i'd change the diesel trains to electric because they're faster.

I love RRT2 platinum, I can buy back my company and embezzle I mean dividend to whatever my company can handle. BTW why do u build a bridge over body of water if u have a river? I see what u do with the station in that situation i find a spot build a teminal and get the grain too. Sometimes i like competition and buy out their company early to get alot of control down the road.

Railroad Tycoon 2 is a good challenge; i'm not sure about RT3 because I've never played it. As for Railroads... i'm not to sure about that. I've only seen very briefly
