Looks like he used a little bit of something else around the 2:39 mark.I agree a bit of 'boogie goo' from ones nose has a good effect on those control pots.Better to use a Kleenex to dig it out of there rather than your big fat dirty finger, which only gets the pots dirtier.Some ass-jam can be used to clean the tolex, but pleeease! use toilet paper to get a supply of that!

he may be wrong guitar amp wise, but he seems to be a very nice guy. give him some credit for that and don´t judge people for doing their small videos on youtube. he seems to have fun and he´s willing to help people (maybe he doesn´t but that´s not the point). uhhhhh uhhhhhhh, i keep my amps cleaned with original Armor All...its great for keeping the exterior of the amp shinny looking and new,and for the pots/tubes...i use a can of compressed air....thats about it....uhhh uhhhh.....lmfao!

the only main reason you would ever really NEED to clean an amp (aside from dusting off the tolex exterior from time to time) is if you bought it used or the pots are a bit scratchy. Compressed air in a can & a soft cloth is pretty much all you need.
