@jumpinjaxsproduction Yep, the '57-'59 Ford Edsel. It was a basic Ford, but it cost as much as the top of the line Ford. Production at the plant was so screwed up that they sent Edsels to the dealers incomplete, with the unassembled parts thrown in the trunk--along with instructions for the service depts. on how to finish building them! Needless to say, this car flopped big-time!
@borntolive1 yea she was hot but jesus christ lmao @ 7:36 525 bucks for a 1958 Vette fck me sign me up already LOL im in to old Muscle cars and thats one hell of a STEAL ;)

This movie basically captured what the summer after graduation was like, saw all your friends in the same little town, most every night, cruising in their cars, and hanging out at the Tim Horton's or super store parking lot. And then that fall it all changed, I sure miss those days..
@LaEskoh No, I just graduated three years ago, but I lived in a small town, me and all my friends worked on cars and cruised alot of the time, you'd cruise around until you found something better to do. It was alot of fun because we never really had a plan, every night was a different adventure. And now everyone just works, and watch movies all night, maybe a little house party but nothing special. Nobody bothers to cruise anymore :(
I forgot to mention that I grew up in San Rafael, and remember fourth street exactly as it is being shown here There was Ed's Auto Supply, Merrill's Drugstore, The See's Candy Store that you see is still there today, and Milner get's pulled over right in front of the Rafael Theatre. It used to have this beautiful yellow and red glass one inch square tile work all over the front of the box office.
@stratospheregirl13 yep... i know what you mean... wrong time, wrong place for me..... sometimes its what you make of it though........even if we now have to drive around looking at boxes that are all the same shape and colour...
@TomGetty88 What is it about 1:10 that made you want to make movies? All I see is a shot of Paul LeMat? What am I missing? I just saw the extra features on the DVD and Lucas mentions about the intentional use of extremely low light, is that what you mean? Thanks
@emjee No man. It is just the union of image and music. The way in which the camera follows the car. It is just the magic of the moment captured in the context of the rest of the movie.
@emjee - how that song Runaway hits that high pitch organ right as he comes around- it's like the apex- super exciting, emotional, scary, happy to be alive, happy to be out driving a nice car! Thank you for asking!
@porn1978 That is weird because I am able to watch it fine, it just says that some countries will be unable to watch it. As far as I know Illinois is still part of the United States.
@marcolopolis555 ..Right! and i agree. I dont know though but its weird to me. I just clicked on part one again but its still saying "Blocked in my region". And its only part one thats doing that. Its not you, its dumbass youtube!. Its okay, i'll just start at part two. And thank you so much for uploading this.
