@gracehi88 Ideally there should be measures freely available that prevent pregnancy in the first place like the contraceptive pill/ morning after pill and other such barrier based measures! but I feel that if someone needs an abortion they should be able to obtain one regardless of ability to pay! say for example a girl is unable to raise the child! (for financial reasons or they're still in some form of education) I guess abortion is a much bigger deal in the US! but I support family planning.

@katakisLives Yes there should be readilly available measures to prevent pregnancy, but a situation in which a pregnant woman can't care for her child is a social reason for an abortion, not a medical reason, and therefore cannot be funded by tax dollars designated for medical care. My answer to that problem is to put the cild up for adoption. Adoption agancies are overwhelmed with couples wanting to adopt and the waiting lists go on for years.
