  • I don't like the echo and prefer the june 1st 1974 version, but still a good song and ollie makes the stars fall down from heaven.

  • I tend to agree

  • Ah those sweet innocent days when we believed that everything would be wonderful if we could get the straights to smoke a bit of dope. Now living in a country where half the government has partaken, we find it really wasn't the key to the kingdom after all. Great song though.

  • An insightful remark. Do you read ?

  • thanks so much ...my mate has borrowed my copy of June 1st 1974 and god i miss it ...mike oldfield on slide and bass he was about 17yo then too lol

  • So lucky as a NZ colonial 2 hv seen Kev 1970 with Whole World band @ Roundhouse in Kent, great compo from trauma of cancelled Frank Zappa concert @ Royal Albert,London abt same time Nov 1970, all cos of ditty of day called Penis Dimensions. I know it was on that date, because the Frank Zappa ticket (cancelled to the Royal Albert Hall) was my 17th birthday present from Dad. But, as I say, Kevin was a perfectly good consolation,

I say to Kevin, for my consolation prize, Thank You, Very Much

  • A cautionary tale for all those in authority who think they know best. Am surprised this has not been banned yet under an EEC directive. Still very funny. Thanks for posting.

  • Any footage of Halsall playing on the Ayers song "Blue"? The studio version has one of the best guitar solos ever.
