  • esta muy simpatica Tina como estara ahora??? seguro una pasa mutante, al carajo, me la levanto....

  • that black wall with cabinets.. looks quiete interesting... looks quite modern like todays standard... is that the back of a giant flat screen ? :) hehe i mean 1976 they did had pretty good technology... look at that cool tv obove the ceiling at the begining of this video... doesnt look anything like the old dodgy 60s.. tho 1976 was almost like 1986

  • if 1976 was disco beat music and new instrumental beats.. then.. what was elvis presley music was about in the late 70s? course in the late 70s it was at least close to the 80s anyways and the 80s was modern beats like today sort of to speak and elvis was more like only playing old music like 50s and 60s but not the actual modern era of 1976? course 76 was allready punk hardcore music loud even beats... almost beats like you would hear in the early 80s more look alike like techno beats.

  • Great! What a surprise! Childhood memories!

  • Good God she's a hottie!

  • what were they thinking by asking her to sing in the gantry!?

  • stunning!!XX

  • Just a beautiful song!!

  • yonexseven.....i'll nit you one

  • love the jumper.. i want one

  • They made her stand on the scaffolding on purpose. The camera man gets too close on purpose. I don't like the Nazis

  • Why is she standing on some ropey old scaffolding? Couldn't they have given her a stage, god knows she needed a bit more elbow room. Or is it just a chunky sweater?

Dave Lee Travis; half man, half pubic wig.

  • @ladyadriandangerous For some inexplicable reason, she's performing from a studio lighting gantry, which run all the way round the walls of the studios at Television Centre. Perhaps the Director is getting a bit short of ideas for TOTP performances! (Not sure this would be easy to achieve these days, with Health & Safety, etc...)

  • @ladyadriandangerous It looks like the set is still being built? Maybe she wasn't available on the day of recording so they did it in the lighting gantry instead? Sometimes TOTP was just like that!

  • @tbone1975uk I think it was modern era and desided to do it obove and showing off cables and all technology wonders.. just like todays music with random background studio. I quite like it. It inspires me for sure. Its interesting coz elvis at the time was doing concerts but his songs was more old and classic like 50s and 60s rather then music of the 70s with beats ? while allready there was stars with modern music allready while elvis was classic with his come back old songs.

  • my father n mothers tunes rip dad love u xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • I was 16 years old when this was in the charts, and to be honest it was totally un-cool to admit you liked shit like this. It's all very well youngsters saying I wish I was around when this was out. This (at the time) was as shit as most of todays popular music !

  • @crazydavedisco so uwer 16 at the time . wasnt it like modern music for u? or does this means every 16 teens in 1976 was like old epic music of the 60s instead? course 1976 was almost 80s and the 80s was more beat techno style.and almost it was like it too in 76 more or less. So what did young teens liked in 1976? elvis presley music or some punk rock crazy hardcore music instead ? Funny coz elvis was playing old classic music sounds in 1976 when he should of play modern music.

  • very piercing voice but a good song all the same.

  • Me Gusta!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • What was the director of this thinking?

  • Many years ago - in the mid-1970's - when listening to this great track, I often used to imagine that the delectable Ms Charles was singing the words: "I Love To Shag (But My Baby Loves To Dance)".

Even as an 11-year-old, I thought that this was a very sexual song ...... and there was no doubt in my mind that Ms Charles was singing about shagging!

  • This classic disco hit from the mid-1970's was sung by a VERY tasty bird. I must confess that, back in the spring of 1976 - when "I Love To Love" was at # 1 in the British charts - I had a bit of a 'thing' about the lovely Ms Charles. (The fact that I was only 11 years of age at the time, notwithstanding.)

I can recall that, even at that tender age, I thought "I Love To Love" was a very sexual song. Nowadays, as a middle-aged man, I still think that.

  • I was 13. I'd rather be 26 today.

  • Oh my god...I am 26 years old...I would give everything only for live this year

  • I am not a big fan of the 70's, but this is soooo cool. Love it :))

    All Thumbs Up !!!

  • This looks like a rehearsal rather than the real thing.

  • Short and sweet.

  • PARA MI UNA DE LAS VOSES MAS PRIBILIJIADAS EN ESA EPOCA ME ENCANTO ME ENCANTA Y ME ENCANTARA.

  • Great view of the studio behind her. She looks like she is standing on some scaffold. Great song though, can remember belting this out holding a hairbrush as a microphone...

  • I can't believe I found this song! I was in Australia in 1976 and every radio station played it every 10 minutes. I love it!

  • the sweetes female voice from 70's ,I love her

  • Guess she's a bit sick while singing this song ( You can here her voice a bit sore and down with flu ) but still a a fantastic performances from her. If she's not down with flu, I guess she would have dance and shake on TOTP.

  • Love this song, thank you!

  • lovely!
