O yeah and If that Homer by Jermain Dye was in U.S Cellular field it would have been a routine Pop Fly.. thats how little Wrigley Field is with thier Baskets for homeruns XD!
Are you really this stupid? The Cell ranks # 2 for homeruns in ALL OF BASEBALL. Wrigley is 7th...lol. The Cell has been in the top 5 since the changed the outfield dimensions. Wrigley field may have a short left center at 350ish but right field is 380+ and Wrilgey has the longest foul lines in ALL OF BASEBALL-355 and 353. The Cell is 15-20 feet closer. And Dyes hr was 434 ft..WHAT BALLPARK IS THAT NOT A HR ??? Lastly: Baskets are to keep fans like you from going on the field not for balls
only yuppies stand outside wrigley field, (not watching the game probably a radio) think its awsome to catch the homer, and throw it back into the stands like that.. Really this isnt about baseball, cause this dumbfuck coulda hit a lil kid or something. These are the kinds of things that makes some cub fans retarded.. In this City, the cubs are like Rich, White neighborhood, and if u go to the cell, its literally across the motherfucking projects. where the real people stay at :)
WOW , CONGATS TRIUMPTHIT1 , you are by far the most ignorant poster I have had ...EVER !
Yuppies...lol...cant tell you how far off you are on that one. NO RADIO ( wrong again ) Into the stands? hit a kid? ....nope...try 275 feet onto the field just behind the shortstop. RETARDED ? who uses that word besides 12 year olds? REAL PEOPLE live in the projects....ha ha ....maybe that is where you belong ? Makes sense , ignorant people usually are stuck living in the projects...lol
Throwing an opposing team's homerun ball back is the most immature trend in baseball and the most hypocritical. I'm sure any of you cub fans would keep the ball if it were worth something. This is another example of why people hate cub fans.
That is why you see it at almost every Sox game too. Only the Cubs fan throws a fake ball , and the Sox fan is dumb enough to throw the real ball , and then get ejected fom the stadium ! Thanks for sharing your ignorance . :)
"Real" Sox fans never participate in this pathetic showing of poor sportsmanship and didn't the guy in this video throw back the ball that was hit and not a fake one?
If you would listen and watch the video you would know that the real ball was not thrown back. And in response to you statement about " real " Sox fans , you obviously dont attend many games because hundereds of fans will yell and point for the ball to be thrown back EVERY TIME a homerun is hit by the opposition. Of course im sure all those fans arent " real " Sox fans ...lol
I go to about 5-10 Sox games per year and usually sit in the bleachers. Every time a opposing team hits a homerun and a Sox fan throws it back, he is booed out of Comiskey Park (I will never call it "The Cell") and is made fun of the entire game.
Yeah, I'll never buy anything from you talking to people like that. So sad.
