no, one foot is perpindicular to the ledge just like a frontside royale, and the other foot is perpindicular to the ledge, but in the opposite direction(toe is on the heel side of the other foot)

bend your knees and make sure that you lock you back foot in the backslide plate and against your soul foot.

also, don't over-lean it, altough i think that isnt the problem.

Back when I skated (like 6 years ago, I'm 22 now lol) skateboarding and skating were kinda' duking it out as for who was going to be the top sport...Skateboarding was always ahead with the kiddies, so I guess they won. I don't see ANYONE skating anymore, just boarding.

I just bought myself some Razor Genesys 8's tonight, going to start up again. I'm a bit too old now to be a pro anytime soon but if I can pick up where I left off I'll be alright, lol.

put a rail in some grass so it won't hurt so much if u fall and then gradually move it up onto concrete. i learned how to grind very easily (3-4 days) with this technique.

Just keep trying man. Sooner or later you'll stick it once, stick it again, and then again and again and then you'll have the muscle memory and you'll stick it every time. Do what the first guy said...Practice slow. Jump onto curbs/stairs in a soul grind or something. It helps get the feel for it. If you can't do it....keep trying. :P
