I was there for this. Many of my friends at the time played for the Panthers. Although it looks brutal, not a lot of punches get through the armour. You know the serious fighters, they ditch their pads to free up their fists. It was funny to see it and we all laughed about it later down at the Keans head(although several of the lads got a talking to). Baz Eoin and Chris were the greatest players Panthers ever had.

also this included a live game this season which was the first time the elite league has been shown live on TV, it was also shown live because the viewing figures for the elite league on sky were exceptionaly high. So if you haven't seen an elite league ice hockey game ever I reallly recomend you go and see one and im guranteeing you will be hooked
