I currently don't play video games, but the fact is video games are virtual tasks that you do to feel a sense of accomplishment, as well as to just pass the time. So when something is hard, it's frustrating, especially when the reason your losing is not because of your own lack of "skill" but instead your losing because of someone else's actions.
A suggestion instead of getting frustrated is learn from the mistakes. There is clearly no reason to sit there and insult others because of the groups inability to do whatever the task was. Video games were design for enjoyment and to the pass the time. How are people suppose to enjoy themselves when they are getting called retarded? Yes it is a video game and it is wrong to get mad to the point where you insult others.
Things can be frustrating however as i keep saying it is a video game it is meant for relaxing and enjoyment. Ive played WoW for many years before I quit. I never once insulted someone calling them "retarded." I was a raid leader back in the day we wiped alot but i never once sat there and called anyone in my group a retard. As You said we cant make any real judgments beyond what we think and feel, and the guild situation was that the management of the guild got tired of this dude insulting everyone all the time. Big argument ensued and they broke up and a new one was formed where very select people were allowed to join. Its not drama its more or less alot of us got away from select people, afterwards we did fine. Couldnt explain that since i ran out of characters.

If HE was doing HIS job correctly, and it really is someone elses fault, then I don't see any real reason his entire guild would fall apart from this petty level of "insulting"

In arathi basin when people go to cap the st no one EVER stays there they all go for the next cap and let me tell you this, that is ALWAYS the first place the horde go to, to cap from the alliance. No one is smart enough to realize they are losing the whole game just by leaving the stables at the beginning. dont even bother replying, I don't expect one.

@Menoz511 im not saying it isnt just a game. but im pretty sure anyone would get annoyed if you probably spend hours getting a raid group together and then wipe because people arent listening. then people start blaming each other and people start leaving the leader desperately trying to find new people to fill in the open spots which ends up failing most of the time and then the rest off the people leave. leaving the Raid Leader to realise that he just wasted hours of time for nothing.

@Menoz511 thats the thinking off level headed people. nowadays WoW is full off people who think only off getting the best gear and showing off. you dont have the level headed people anymore who try to help others all they care about is the completion of the raid. which is kinda sad and one off the main reasons i quit the game after playing it for 5 years straight. its all about gear score and achievements. which is bull cause they dont prove anything.

@Menoz511 i mean gear is sooo freaking easy to get these days that even fresh 80s can be epic geared without knowing a single raiding tactic. i dont know how its like since cataclysm but im pretty sure its either the same or going to be the same. on dunemaul people expected that you have better gear then drops in the freaking raid instance. which is unlogical cause aside from emblem runs why would someone do a instance if he has better gear then you can get in the instance itself

@lagorbian Indeed. I remember me raiding with my guild at the time, doing ICC LK. Kept wiping because of one guy being afraid to say he doesn't quite know what he's doing wrong. I whispered the guy, telling him that it's okay to be ignorant of tacts. You might've been unable to look up tacts due to other things he had to attend to. Anyhow, Instead of raging at him, I explain him in detail what and what not to do, after 1 wipe, we killed him. =) You see, helping your members is most efficient =)
