Originally, it had names in my own language. I wasn't so happy with most of them, but I began to invent a language, "Blaxian", and made/translated some of their normal names into Blaxian.
The canals were mostly due to the fact that I used A4-papers, which aren't so big, so to make it easier to connect them, I was so lazy that I tried to get a lot of water at the borders. :P
I really like how you did all the seprate towns and the highways and how you named the towns. i am working on a city drawing too i started it in 2000 il have ta get it on hear
'Mikaxon' sounds Aztec...and I note the use of extensive canals...
did you draw any inspiration in this from Tenochtitlan?

you should seriously consider drawing real cities. you should use google earth to draw a real city. it would be awesome!
