Got my bottle today. I was soooo scared this batch was going to smell like pure salt. I primed the sprayer and then that beautiful imperial smell filled my nose. So happy. Love this stuff!

Are Creed batches still dated on the bottle (sticker on bottom)? The discount Creed (found online) I bought a few years ago was an old bottle I came to discover. I know fragrance can last many years, but anything over 3 years or so I would not be interested in. The bottle I bought at 1/2 price of retail (Fleurissimo) was, according to the sticker, 8 years old!

This Creed fragrance is amazing, it's one of my all time favorites other than sliver mountain water & green Irish tweed, I can smell this literally 24 hours after I spray in on my chest (Stuff sticks like crazy to hair).

In my circle, it has a 100% success rate in inducing the "I Can't Believe It!" dopey-grin on every sniffer it comes across. Ambergris dry down is soooo attractive, I'm surprised you don't hear more about it.

First: Thank you so much for your reviews. It shows how much you put into these! I am really impressed and very pleasantly surprised since GIT is a little sweet for me. It's going to be worn A LOT by me, so I have one question: You mentnioned 5 sprays-- but to keep this top note lasting on a nice evening out, could I do two or three sprays, and then another two sprays every couple of hours with my travel atomizer? Or would that be too weak, or give too much projection after a few hours?

My opinion, but this fragrance is OVERRATED...

Based on what everybody said for months in reviews I watched on youtube I was expecting something out of this world. I finally got a sample and the salty vibe is way stronger than I was expecting. It's not nearly as "melony" as I was hoping. It is fresh in a way, but not like I was hoping for at all. And people can say that this is much much better than SJ Unforgivable, but I was blown away at how close unforgivable is to this. Oh well... lol

idk if youve reviewed Aventus, but im wondering if you know anything about the concentrations.

ive got the 1 oz bottle, and after looking at ultrafragrances,com they carry aventus in 2.5 and 4oz bottles. and it said 2.5 was EDP and 4oz was a millesime spray.

so i was wondering if my 1oz is only EDT. because for some reason the longevity sucks on me.

i never tested it at the shop, but we did get it from an authentic store. so i cant compare berween the big and small bottle. what do you think?

frangnet sells 4oz EDT, and smaller bottles EDP. Is that how they normally go? Or is there EDP for the 4oz as well? If we go to a retailer like NM do they carry the 4oz EDT, or EDP? Or is it the same everywhere for the 4oz, and people just name it differently?

But short of actually sampling the actual juice, your reviews are the next best thing. You know on Basenotes, they say 'Green mandarin' and 'Lemon' instead of 'Crisp fruit notes' like you say for the top notes? I really do get a nice Fruit Punch effect, layered over the lemon and Wmelon! Must-buy for me.

Must say that spray for the Creed bottle was huge, like a crazy hose =D

Let me take nothing away from your absolutely perfect review, it honestly makes all other videos redundant, stuttering and amateurish in comparison.

Now and But, the problem however, is I agree with a small group of people that however good, perfectly delivered a review is, especially for a fragrance, there is no point unless one samples for themselves. Hey, I have many stories on these, involving Jubliation XXV, right down to CK Eternity! But to be fair, you do always say try before buying.

your review was long as hell but I must say you are right on the money with everything you say. I thought Pdiddy was a great entrepreneur but after smelling unforgiveable I despise him. As if stealing music isn't enough he has to jock frangrances too. I grew to like this stuff, I would of liked it even more if P-phony didnt ruin its exclusivity. @evans4you price : creed wins (IMO bond's are overpriced for what you get ) , scent quality : Creed (you can smell the difference) ; longevity : Bond (i'll give this to them since I have had much better success with them) ; uniqueness : Creed again ( most bond's aren't that unique to each other actually, but some are pretty outstanding in both Creed & Bond)

Amazing stuff!!! This one is so good it draws people to you! The smell is divine! Also I had one of my friends try it on her hand. By the end of the day she skyped me and said "it smells so good I just want to curl up with my arm" :)

LOVE THIS STUFF !!! To me this is the best summer fragrance and I dont get longevity issues at all....I get 8 hrs and sometimes more and with only 1 spray to the neck.. Also for me it projects well for 4 hours and the rest of the time its close to the skin but not too close.. DAMN NEAR PERFECT and its a great compliment getter

There's definitely something in this (probably the "ambergris") that makes your mouth water. It has a rich juiciness that is pretty unique. I've received many compliments when wearing it. Most people say "Wow. Someone smells GOOD!" I feel like a million bucks when wearing it. It lasts a long time on me, but I wish the citrusy top notes stayed around for more than 30 minutes. The dry-down is kind of flat and woodsy with a bit of that ambergris still lurking around, but still really nice.

Great review. I love this frag. My signature summer scent and a reliable compliment-getter. From babes. Good sillage and longevity. I love the dry citrus, saltwater aquatic, spice, and slight green scent. The ambergris is definitely there. Imo, light years ahead of Sean John.

Hey marc i got a question man. I got a sample of this stuff before i got a 4 oz bottle of it, the sample was much sweetwer and more pleasant smelling than the actualy bottle unfortuantely...the 4 oz bottle smells MUCH more saltier...i dont understand! you said that it would smell slightly different in the video but this big bottle smells much saltier..im like WTF! lol any ideas man?

Great review Marc. This is my baby. When I first heard the price tag and longevity problems, I said "hell no!" but I went to test it out and the rest is history. I have 2 bottles of MI and will keep on buying this. I fortunately get good longevity out of this 8 hours plus. And also being from the Caribbean it's basically summer all year. I get the most and most extreme compliments when I wear this and I do mean extreme lol. I'm happy I didn't let others make my mind up for me because I love MI!

@robes08 All good, I noticed a lot of regular reviewers have been saying 230-250 for 4 oz and I'm like am I missing something.. Would you say Musc Ravegeur would be ok to use in the morning? My concern is I wake up at 5AM to get ready for work and with most creeds lasting 6-8 hours.. I don't like the idea of keeping something in my car and want something that can last strong all day. Do you like Bond 9 fragrances?

Dude you hit it: the more you wear this, the better it gets. I blind bought it and thought "wow this is nice" but to my surprise after many wearings I like it even more. It grows. For pure casual wear, I prefer Silver Mountain Water. MI is a bit more high class and has the better drydown to my nose. Longevity is not great, I get an average 6 hours but that's totally fine with this exceptionally great smell.

This and Chergui are my faves right now. This will never be out of my collection.

I've been waiting for this review for a while! I bought a 4 oz bottle, for the first few times I wore it I thought that it was just ok, nothing special. After 3 days of wearing it, I love this fragrance. I haven't smelled anything quite like it, I really enjoy the salty watermelon vibe I get from it.
