  • XJRdan, I've seen alot of vids on youtube about preacher curls and mostly all the guys - 30-40 year old veterans - say that preacher curls are the way to go for big biceps. Do you think so? You're biceps look HUGE.

  • Im 14 and can do 30s. You reckon i could get at least 150 before im 18?

  • i doubt it but you never know. You gotta put hours and hours of dedication to curling if you want to lift 150 pounds. Im currently in 11th grade and i've been working since the beginning of the year. I started out at 30 pound dumbells and im barely on 50 now. It's pretty hard work but if you try hard and put alot of work you will get results.

I noticed your left arm was weaker than your right arm (like me) so i'd suggest you always start out with your left arm and decide how much weight/repetitions you do from that. And try do one like one less repetition with your right arm to keep the balance in your body.

  • @J03KAH biggest myth ever...your biceps grow from being shocked or blasted. Try doing a barbell curl with 10-20%more weight than you can handle with proper form. Its ok if you cheat a little, because this overloads the bicep thus meaning faster growth. Full range of motion is good, dont take me wrong, but i believe if you do the same full range motion workouts for your arms all the time, they will get used to the stress and will not grow very fast as you hope.

  • The forms great, you cant go lower than having your forearm level on the extension, you get no more of a workout by bring it lower, just a very high risk of injury.
