I think his version of freedom is the free market that Reagan helped restore. The same market that has many Americans without jobs. The same market that has America on it's knees.
I agree that Cuba may have lack of freedom. But America has lack of personal freedom as well. Do you know that any American can be arrested just because of the possibility of being connected to terrorism?
Bush is right. I am not a Cuban but I lived in Cuba for more than two years, and I can tell you that Cubans are not free. There is fear everywhere. Cuban State Security agents are everywhere. The truth is, Cubans know that Cuba needs to change, but the Cuban Govt has a stranglehold over public debate. Nobody can change anything... until the Cuban people have enough and say, "No More!" Friends, that day will come sooner than any of us think. Long live Cuba! Long live freedom!
Well Bush is one to talk about respecting the UN. Just look back at what he did in 2003.
