wow thats awesome, must be a real tough job marking out all those rivets but if you love something enough... also are those hatches in scale positions regarding the the spitfire mark 5b
Great Work mate this is a level hopefully I can come to one day, your video is very entertaining and I cant wait to see this Warbird in the air, keep up the great work well done your editing and blending videos are fantastic 10/10. :) Also what music is this sounds nice?
attachment to previous comment I have no experience what so ever. all i have is the plane body and wings. nothing else. i will never be able to get it up to this standerd nomatter how hard i try. keep up the good work. the fustrating bit is at the end when you have to put the last few bits and bobs in you just want to get it over and done with fast.... but dont keep up your good work... ps. any one who knows where i can get a spec or blueprint for a spitfire could you please mail me. thanks
must see this fly, even if it crashes on maiden flight, they all crash eventually any way. i always enjoyed the build much more than the flying. more relaxing. speaking of relaxing i like your choice of music.
Superb dedication & Patience ... Something that the current generation lacks ... glued to their mobile phones, txting & delegating their imaginations onto game consoles.
Thanks! Unfortunatley i broke the rules and built an ARF a few weeks ago, but from now on, the next few things i build will be kits or from plans. I'm not the best builderm but i hope i will get there someday.
I'm 14 years old, I play computer games ALOT, I make scale wood rifle models that shoot, wooden jet airplane models and yes I'm glued to the phone. still I am patient and dedicated to what I do.
if many teenagers lack dedication and patience dont think there are no exceptions :)
its probably paint primer over the balsa sheeting(??)...
the maiden flight of a self built airplane is almost better than an orgasm i tell you, this why every real modeller would get this bird up and going... if it crashes and you really liked it then you'll anyways fix it up(i would)
Man that is amazing, you'll have big cahoonas if you actually fly it, all those hours and skill, if it was mine I wouldnt risk it, well maybe once but that would be it , good luck
I have been waiting for this video! You sir are a SKILLED CRAFTSMAN with an artist's eye for form and the requisite patience that it requires. I'm not sure that most people can appreciate what you have invested there. GREAT JOB! Please keep them coming - cheers M8.

Yes, it was all Control Line and Free Flight back in those days :D ( assuming your over 40) Plus early Escapement type radios.
It's a brilliant hobby!

Ah, good to know you are still making this master work! What is the outer layer made of (the white stuff)?
Don't listen to suggestions below - you should fly it. Perhaps cautiously to begin with.

Well, you build models to fly them. If the crash, tough cookies. Part of the hobby, you either rob it of useful parts or rebuild it.
Shit happens:D
