my average load out is flare pistol, dart rifle, mp5... or flare pistol, flame thrower, bolt action sniper... everybody thinks im crazy! but it works

I don't think flamethrower sucks, because in some missions, when there is like entire town with grass and barrels, you can use it very effectively. I've done four missions using only flamethrower and then picking scary hostiles with pisto... It was fun :D

But I understand that with flare pistol and homeland it's very useless weapon. BTW, FC2 is your best walkthrough but others are good too. Good job, Slack!

To see how I escaped Port Selao, go to my channel, click on Uploads and do a search for "war on peace" (without the double quotes) and then click on video [3/4] in the series and jump to the 6:17 mark.

Well, I guess its a worhy winner of the nightmare loadout award, only difference I would make is to take the mortar rather than the fmaethrower cause the flamethrowed is pretty much a one hit kill, just really short range where as making the mortar hit anything is a skill I dont think anyone has.

A lot of people use reverse to brake. That won't work to do skid turns. You have to actually use the handbrake button (+ turn left/right).

the flare pistol isn't a bad weapon with the right loadout. one of my favorite loadouts is

MGL-140

M-249 SAW

simply becouse i don't see any sense of taking a Eagle .50 or an SMG on. and it's a great long-range-molotov. sometimes i swap to IED's, too.

Hey Mr Slack. I completed the game today^^ On normal :P But i plan to do hardcore next time.

Btw, in the end of the game the sickness level was on 5/5, is it supposed to be that way? I was without pills for quite sometime earlier because i was so far away from an Underground location. Does that have any consequenses on the sickness level?

Sounds like a stupid question, but i just want to make sure 'til next time.

The only thing you have to worry about is having repeated malaria attacks and you have no more pills to take. Eventually you'll pass out. If that happens in Act 2, you wake in the doctor's office in Pala. Never had it happen to me in Act 1. Someone else will have to fill you in on that.

I think the 5/5 sickness level at the end is meant to be part of the game, because your meant to be "dying" by the end of the game. That's why you WOULD shoot yourself even if you did take the diamonds, your so sick it doesn't matter anyway. Plot device.
