mate these are difinately real, hmv are on the reccomended list, the american version is different, but im british and my box looks axactly like that and i got mine from amazon, not a dealer on amazon but acatual amazon, they are 100 percent real, and they should have a virificatin code, so u can verify them with monster, thats was i did and mine were real, the code is on the headphone aswell :)
