@rockandroll626 Because in the U.S., most Fire Departments have taken on the responsibility of providing Emergency Medical Services in addition to Fire Suppression and Rescue.

orland always sends 1 als engine or truck and 1 als ambulance to all ems runs. Sometimes the engines or trucks are first onscene.
