At the end of the demo I tried (for PC through Steam company) they said it's coming out in Feb this year, unless I was so excited I misread the date..which is possible.  The demo looked like the gameplay would be more faithful to the original FEAR, keeping my fingers crossed.

I can't remember where I saw it, maybe you can refresh me, but I saw a vid of the new A.I. The vid was about 4 minutes and it looked OUTSTANDING. I was completely impressed with the A.I. in the first one for the most part but as you mentioned the upgrade is unbelievable. This is going to be a great title.

Indeed it will. But if I we see those Assassin Replica soldiers aiag, I swear they are going to be a pain in the ass! It's like, a super ninja with enhanced reflexes and cloaking technology, and they don't even speak so that they won't even make noise. And I think that the assassins can't talk at all. They just follow orders just like all other replica soldiers do. And when you are fighting them, I recomend the shotgun and slowmo. When you are in slowmo, you can easily target them.

Actually you are pointman. This game is the actual sequel to the original, not Perseus Mandate and the other shitty one. Monolith sold and rebought the rights to the title of FEAR, so now they are officially releasing the true sequel and continuation of the story. You are te original Pointman, Alma's son, that you were in the original game and this one takes place RIGHT after the explosion at the end of the original. Game on!

Actually current PC graphics hardware is more capable than the graphics unit in the PS3...Hell graphics cards from a generation or so ago are on par with the PS3.

You are working off of the same internet connection on either platform so if you lag on one you will lag on the other based on the fact your connection is bad.

You can play online on both platforms...but PC is usually more open to modification and people tend to run servers on dedicated machines which leads to better performance.

Yes and no. They were trying to not show as much of young Alma but more of teenage Alma. In this game you are going to find out why they did what they did (create Alma, use Fettal as a psycho general, and the release of Alma). This game will give us more story line and in depth plot then the first and expansion packs.

persus mandate isn't the sequel to extraction point. It was made by a different company that bought the rights to the F.E.A.R. game but not the story or something. Persus mandate plays the SAME story as the first game, only as a person. Which sucks in my opinion.
