  • duncan shot is the unluckiest lucky shot of all time XD

  • This was such an epic ending. Premature celebration by the team AND the crowd. XD What was it that Shaq said? "One lucky shot deserves another."

  • the spurs in the past few years do have more championships then the lakers!

    hate em or love em

  • 2000-2010, Spurs have 3 championships (03, 05, 07)

    Lakers have 4 championships (00, 01,02, 09)

    Nuff said

  • PLUS 11 previous championships not to mention I think 30 Championship appearances.........spurs..... more like taps under my shoes compared to the Lakers.

  • Well said bro, well said. They got very little compared to our glory

  • @Tecun85 ANOTHER FAKE ASS LAKERS FAN!!!!!! HAD TO GOOGLE THAT INFO DID YOU. REAL LAKER FANS APPRECIATE LONG STREAKS OF SUCCESS. SPURS #1 ORGANIZATION IN ANY SPORTS LOOK THAT UP. REAL LAKER FANS RESPECT SPURS NOT HATE.

  • Let's see - the Spurs went on to win 2 more NBA titles!

The Lakers went on to lose 2 more NBA titles!

  • sperms just got pwned like lil bitches. ahahaha

  • yea its freakin impossible to shoot a shot in 0.4 but whatever the nba sucks they want stupid ppl in the finals

  • I remember i was watching this game and when duncan shoot it i say to my self no way that is going to make and it went in, and i was not happy, but when fisher hit that shot i jump up and down. (TRUE LAKER FAN)

  • unbelievable

  • where can i get this with a better quality????

  • The Spurs woulda beat the Pistons. Big Ben and the Zone was too much for the lack of chemistry in LA. ...

  • THE SHOT rOBERT HORRY MISSED IN 03.

  • It's in the news that Fisher is not even considering signing with any other team but Los Angeles. Welcome back D-Fish.

  • one lucky shot deserves another

  • Shaq afterward said that TD's shot was a "lucky shot" Is he out of his dam mind? a 15 footer fade away shot with seconds left on the clock and guarded by a seven footer? get the hell out of here

  • Shit, nevermind I saw on there barely now. Ha, even now that play is amazing. a complete reversal from a High to a low.

  • Its deathly quiet in that arena. I forgot what that series was tied at this point? or if the lakers took the lead. Amazing.

  • I can nvr forget this play. nvr!

  • its all about the fuckin lakers

  • go lakers!

  • It looks like Bruce Bowen just had a colonoscopy!

  • owned

  • at least lakers had a dynasty

  • at least they dont need every all star in a single team to beat the spurs 2-1 :) mavs 1-1 :P

  • It's funny how Lakers fans still try to rub this in Spurs' fan face 3 years later. They're still not over the fact that SA ended the Lakers dynasty in 2003.

  • That had to be the worst thing I've ever seen. It got even worst when people started calling my house to rub it in my face. I almost started crying again after watching that...but in the end Lakers ended up losing in the finals by at least 20 points. LOL. Revenge is so swift. But I knew they weren't going to win the finals because they lost to the Clippers in the pre-season...And by the way Tim Duncan did not travel.

  • i cant stop laughing at seeing them the Spurs fans happy and then break them down. LOL

  • to the dude who said he didn't travel, have you ever played basketball?? but that doesn't matter.. the refs rarely blow their whistles at this point.. doesn't matter if duncan walked or not.. they lost anyway.. i miss the old laker days..

  • K, for the people who said h travelled, learn the rules of basketball, and anyway, this is, no doubt the most amazing play in the history of the playoffs. I was fucking screaming YES when Fisher got it in, I was watching the game, good game too.

  • How was Duncan's shot tougher? He had to travel to make it anyway. He traveled at least two times.

  • the lakers looked hopeless after tim duncans shot

  • I've never seen an area's crowd go from "blowing the roof off" to "silent as a mourge" as quickly as it did right there.

  • wow...crazies...al michaels and doc rivers already gave victory to the spurs. tim's shot (a travel at the start, by the way) was so improbable people were thinking, "hell no the lakers can't get out of this hole" then derek's left hand sent the ball up, and the rest...history.

  • i remember the lakers took three timeouts before that final play so they could refine the last possession, all while spurs fans were chanting "BEAT LA." i cant help but crack up every time i hear the crowd go from chants to complete shock, and seeing the look on bruce bowen's face as the lakers run off the court.

IMO the best finish to a basketball game EVER.

  • ccoommmeee back to us, Derek...

  • God bless Derek. That was Huge

  • these two shots still give me goosebumps. that was the wildest night from basketball that i ever seen (missed the pistons/pacers fight)

  • The reason Bowen was not in the game, was because it was only .4 of a second left. I guess the spurs thought they had it in hand.

  • Oh MAN that was a crazy night. What makes it really great was that the Spurs didn't doubt that they had it in the bag. Too bad the Lakers suck now.

  • it was sad for the spurs

  • Fisher had his best years with the lakers. Unforgettable memory

  • ITS GOOOOOOOD!

  • premature celebration?

  • LOL spurs thought they had it won and got OWNED

  • It's too bad David Stern and the media favor the Lakers. It is why they receive countless calls in their favor and how impossibilities, such as the play in this video, can happen without being overturned. It's easy to see why this happens. L.A is a huge market which means more people will watch the games if the Lakers are playing and that means more money for the above.

  • You're a stupid whore. Why would they overturn it if the ball left his hands before the time expired? Honestly you're pathetic. You must be butt hurt the Lakers eliminated the Spurs 3 out of 4 years. And if the Lakers were favored then the refs wouldn't have allowed the Pistons to shoot dozens of more free throws than the Lakers.

  • The funny thing is the exact same thing happened to the Spurs when playing the Grizzlies except this time the Spurs shot the ball with .4 of a second left. The replay showed it was out of his hand in time but the clock was not started in time. The officials overturned the call and the shot did not count. Its obvious big markets get the calls in the NBA and all other professional sports. You just have to put your bias in check.

  • But that shot was legit. It wasn't some mass conspiracy to prevent the Lakers to win it all. But of course, it all worked out for David Stern and the NBA that the Lakers were succesful.

  • Sorry, but if you knew about basketball you would know it is physically impossible to turn and shoot with .4 of a second. That was the rule before the officials were allowed to look at the replay. Even with the replay you can clearly see the clock was not started until he was fully turned and in the process of shooting. If you don't believe me look it up, or better yet try it.

  • Actually .4 is the limit at which its proven to have been possible to go through the process of a shot and get it off in time. And that info was spreak through the league before the season began (it used to be .6 or something).

I would have written a lot more but YouTube has a character limit on comments, so I guess I'd much rather end up to agree to disagree.

  • bull shit your an idiot it was good it even put it in slow motion your a dumbass... all teams get calls its just that the lakers are always in big games and that makes those calls bigger... plus every time kobe drives to the basket he gets fouled but the refs dont call it so shut the fuck up asshole...

  • I agree with you that when youre in a big game it makes the calls even bigger but how do you explain the officials overturning calls in the past which mimicked exactly what happened in that game.Clevername71 is correct when saying .4 of a second is the limit for the process of shooting but not turning a shooting.Tell you what. How about you or anyone of these blind Laker fans prove me wrong by posting a video of you catching the ball at your waist and turning and shooting in only .4 of a second.

  • meh, i coulda done it in .399 seconds.

fakejohnsmith, do you post that comment in every clip? Damn low life loser.

  • yes! nice shot!

  • no it was Shaq ilive4sports if Shaq wasnt there Miami wouldnt win.

  • lakers are da best fuck all haters

  • d-wade is awesome. He lead the Heat to their championship-it wasnt shaq.

  • yea fuck dywayne wade little wannabe Kobe. that fool needed all the help in the world just to squeak by this year. all Kobe needed was Shaq and good role players. miami had no real compitition in the playoffs

  • umm...isn't that what wade got? shaq and good role players?

  • hahaha...that's kinda true

  • Al Michaels sucks

  • DUDE... u did not just say that

do u believe in miracles.. YES!

  • agreed

  • that was one of the best games ever

  • that was a sensational shot!!!

  • fuck the spurs fuck the heat fuck shaq fuck Spurs in 03

  • it still hurts!!!!

  • Fisher was great back in the day. He hit so many 3's back during the 2nd championship run... now he is just another face on crappy teams.

  • unbelievable shot. wow, the spurs were stunned!! Anyways the Lakers/Spurs rivalry is long over :)

  • fuck d-wade he can suck my balls and so can the heat

  • lol. Shaq/kobe was a great duo. bynum does suck. The look on Bowens face after the shot was made is so priceless.

I think that the shaw trade was retarded. I think they should have traded kobe to iami and gotten like Dwayne wade.

  • Another wasted win against the defending champs. 2004 Lakers beat the defending champs, then lost. 2006 Mavs beat defending champs, but lost.

  • hahahaha bynum sucks balls. Kobe quit on his own team in game 7 what a cocksucking faggot rapist

  • your mother

  • The lakers will go back to thier winning ways when andrew bynum becomes the next shaq

  • I still don't understand how they beat those sorry ass Spurs but couldn't beat the Pistons.

  • yeah me too :(

  • shock of the league

  • Why was Bowen not in the game?

  • This game was off the hook but game 5, 2006 season lakers and suns was better

  • I saw this game. One of the best.

  • wow. great game.

  • u know duncan still wakes up in a cold sweat cause of this.

  • the spurs lost the series afterwards. go lakers.

  • got fish? ;)
