I prefer the '97 version because George really lets loose on the outro the "Who Gives a FUCK about your problems darling/cause you can pay the rent" line and it samples one of my fave songs "Burn (Rubber on Me)".
But this has the better lyrics "Talk about your teacher/The bully boy who beat ya....".
I adore all George Michael albums but "Older" and "Listen Without Prejudice, Vol.1" are my all time favorites. 'Star People' is one of my favorite tracks on "Older" - great music, sound, lyrics and just wonderful performance. In some way this marvelous album reminds me Madonna, Belinda Carlisle and Laura Branigan's albums released in early 90's
I love this whole cd back when it came out we actually were going threw the same thing. Losing some love ones, depression yep it was me too. I hope you are better I myself still in thearpy. But I love this whole cd.
