why Islamic Finance would not work in a non-muslim country?
I think Dr. Hadad is trying to say that its impossible to switch into Islamic finance, because of absent of other Islamic elements. My answer to that is how Islam began in Makkah? something we all know well. the, the prophet (pbuh) would never de-motivate his companions when they were in Makka (the non-muslim city) not to eat haram (riba) despite the absence of ahkam.so I believe this financial system can be applied to everywhere.
Islamic finance has yet to prove itself if it does work in a non -corrupt islamic country and i wonder which country will this work!?
