  • jello put-en

  • wow i can watch this opening all day

  • You have to understand something about liberals. They are more stereotypical than your WORSE conservatives. At least conservatives are straight forward about their opinion. Liberals will tell black people that they should ACT IN A CERTAIN WAY, and that a show ISNT BLACK ENOUGH. My question is, what the heck are "black people" supposed to act like? An American is an American, regardless of color. But the liberal is going to tell you you're a group who acts one way.

  • @552mustang What the fuck are you talking about?

  • This video goes great with guiles theme music just so you know

  • Rudy at 0:38 is the cutest thing I have ever seen!

  • @EveryOnesADoucheBag LOL! At your name you fucking racist!

  • Wotta jam! If they stretched this out for five minutes, I'd buy the MP3.

  • The Cill Bosby Show. The Cosby Showsby. STARRING: Bill Cosby as Bill Cosby. Sabrina Labeaucosby. Bill Cosby would like to thank all Bill Cosby out there for making Bill Cosby Bill Cosby.

  • Like this if you came here because of cjflo.

  • Oh my god, it's trolls trolling trolls. Does anyone in this flamewar actually believe in what they are posting, or is it just an endless loop of irony upon irony upon irony?

  • Like this if you came here after watching the Qu'osby Show.

  • @GrandMasterFreshMpls lol that was hilarious. I would watch it.

  • I hope there's still a part of you that has the self-awareness to realize that you're ranting about politics on the comments of a youtube clip from the Cosby show.

  • Who cares about politics. Shows like this are a way to escape all that crap and have some fun for once :)

  • Oh really? Since when did "republicans" take over the libertarian party you JACKASS fuck? And the "working man" party? You bought that line?LOL. You are a dumbass.lol..I'm union, middle class and ANYTHING BUT DEMOCRAT. My union doesn't suck up to politicians. It's one of maybe 5 in the country that serves a purpose. Democrats are racist vermin. White liberal progrssives control that party. Do you even know what a fucking progressive is YOU moron? Il take the R over the D any day. Youre stupid.

  • how about a show where white folks live in the projects and commit most of the crime while only making up 12% of the population? maybe it will oppress them!? LOL. idiots. If you want to improve the lives and families STOP VOTING DEMOCRAT-

    TRACKRACISM ORG

  • @IdiotsForObamaCom

It is you who are the idiot that keeps voting for REPUBLICAN OBSTRUCTIONIST who do not care for the working man or America at all. Who will keep you poor and stupid for the rest of your life while you watch FIXED NEWS that is owned by Rupeert Murddock and Prince Al-Waleed a Saudi who ownes 7percent of the lying FIXED News. President Bush and the Republican party's base is the Lobbyist, Trans-Atlantic Corporations(who help ship jobs over seas for slave labor) and the racist

  • And if the republicans OBSTRUCT our Marxist President who is intentionally destroying America, then I might start liking those republicans. Do your research instead of watching LEFT WING MEDIA OUTLETS you piece of shit. Do you take your marching orders from people who get thrills, tingly feelings up their legs when they hear white liberal con artist community organizers posing as a black man speak?lol. Start back from college, read HIS OWN book, see his record in senate-the bills he signs DICK

  • @IdiotsForObamaCom

It is obvious you are the Facist who hates America. You are so brain washed by FIXED News your IQ is -1.

Republicans voted against 9/11 families, voted against the middle class and working families, vote against food safety bill, voted against Start Treaty, Voted against Health care, Voted aginst women who got rape, voted aginst jobs bill and so on. You and the REPUBLICAN TERRORIST CORPORATE RACIST TEA PARTY are the ones who is destroying America with your greed and lies.

  • Actually, I support all of those opposed. START is a joke, we got conned by the russians you jackass. The 9-11 bill is flawed, and because of democrats relying on dumb fucks like you, they can use IN the name of fireman, an excuse to attack republicans who dont want the money passing thrugh many hands before it gets to the people who actually need it. They're not against IT in general. Health care bill= disaster- get down on your knees and start sucking the boots of tea partiers.

  • @IdiotsForObamaCom

so go back to hell from witch you came because you are definately evil.

  • It's WHICH you fucking jackass. Great public schools huh?

  • This opening is my second favorite after the Apollo one.

  • bill cosby has the warm gentle glow of a loving father but hes actually quite gangsta....picture him pissed off strapped up

  • I loved the son in law Ms C telling him about getting Mr C a cup, hail to the whole family and the staff well done and thanks.

  • I hated when they hacked this intro for syndication.

  • man i love the cosby show.

    and i was born in '93! :D

  • @jonaahthan I was born in '93 too and I love the Cosby Show. It's too bad it ended the year before we were born.

  • first time ever seeing this theme...lol must be because i was born in 88'...and they never show'd reruns that far..lol love the whole cosby show and wat it stood for !

  • Damn i never saw this intro this must be from 85 the year i was born. I remember seeing the first season on reruns though

  • this is how I learned to dance

  • Personally, I like this theme better than the 3rd Season Theme b/c it was so cool and I liked it and plus, during the 85/85 Season, Miami Vice, Punky Brewster, Snorks and HUNTER were also back for a 2nd Season on NBC as well

and plus, the late Bill Cullen was still hosting The Joker's Wild and Tom Kennedy was hosting The Price is Right on syndication and Body Language for CBS

and also, NBC even gave us The Golden Girls and 227 and The Facts of Life was back for its 7th Season as well

  • but ya see the more jello pudding pops i ate the more better i got at the dancing ya see daaaaw lol

  • wheres raven?

  • @swimchic5191 Just being born. She wouldn't appear on the show for four more years.

  • ONLY Bill Cosby can wear those kind of sweaters and pull off being cool. This was a great show!!

  • i loved the cosby showww

  • have to say that I looooved the openings (s5 was kinda off but still fun) it was so great and fun! Love these kinds of titles!

  • Cosby is "dancing to the word *BBBLLEEEEEPPP* "

  • POKEMAN?!

  • Love that head move that Sabrina did!

  • I think this one and season 3 are the ones I remember the most.

  • Better than that crappy syndicated opening.

  • @tyrese3745 I gotta say I like this one but I always watched it in syndication so the syndicated opening is what I know most

  • @tyrese3745 Indeed. They had to redo the music for the syndication version because they cut 12 seconds off the opening for syndication. The network version is definitely superior to the syndie version. Interesting that they chopped this one so much, but not the others.

  • Hmm maybe its me but something about this intro jus makez me love it so much! its just a simple intro not 2 much but i still love it

  • bill cosby cant dance but its funny as hell to see him try.

  • @pochazet Well, this was the first "dancing" opening they did. The previous season's was quite different, involving a series of still images. They got better at dancing for the later versions of the opening.

  • I love this opening. You get to see how Bill Cosby dance. It is hilarious. Me and brother used to bust out laughing on this opening. Everyone know how to dance on that show.

  • This theme could be sampled with Mysticals "Shake ya a@s". LOL. Really envision that. OMG!

  • My 2nd favorite intro!

  • i like the human beatbox opening better

  • RIP Bill Cosby

    Goodnight, sweet prince

  • Huh? He ain't dead.

  • bill cosbys still alive homie.lol

  • @demonchica18

    coolface.jpg

  • Cerebral Palsy is no laughing matter!

  • man i miss this good stuff

  • Heyevraybodythi so good thati am masasurbaitng

  • This is my favorite of all the Cosby openings. And who can not love this theme?

  • @Whillikersify dont it have to themes for season 2 because i heard another one on tv

  • Yeah, they probably have another cover of it that is sometimes played in syndication.

  • stfu bill is not dead dumbass

  • @Zeethr what the heck?? bill cosby isnt dead!!!

  • forget crip walkin u really dancin if you're bill-walking lol

  • dude da ending of the intro is fuckin epic haha

  • this is my favorite version. they could've kept it for the rest of the series, I would've been cool... :)

  • i miss those days

  • omg bill cosby is the silliest man alive

  • aw i love rudy and theo

  • They're the best.

  • Bill dances like he's been constipated for a week

  • i miss this show

  • I love Bill Cosby

  • BILL COSBY FOR PRESIDENT

  • lol theo and vanessa...

  • The cast sure knows how to dance!

  • Shooooooot, my fam was BIG on The Cosby Show back in the day and i rememba this opening from 1986 so fondly! Lisa Bonet was my girrrrrl back then. She always reminded me of my cousin back then. Lisa was and still is beautiful. I use to have a CRAAAZY CRUSH on Malcolm-Jamal Warner, he was my boo LOOL. And The mother Phylicia Allen was so cool and nice and beautiful too. The family was just like my family growin' up, real cool, fun, and always full of adventure...Thank God for The Cosby Show!

  • This intro is from "Rudy Suits up" 1985.

  • Cliff looks slightly crestfallen in this lol.

  • Haha @ Theo

  • this is version 1 of the second theme, a remixed version was used for the rest of the season

  • @GMANKOOL23 Actually, the remixed (and shortened) version is for syndication. This version ran on all the episodes for their network broadcast.

  • My favorite of the intros...

  • i love Keisha's dance in this one~ its so funny! ^^

  • I like the way Vanessa dances.

  • OMG i miss 1984 and 1985 dam love this show

  • Best opening of all the seasons I think.

  • i agree

  • does anyone have the other version of The Cosby Show season 2? Someone please help? Can someone put a video of it on youtube?!

  • Me too. I want to find the other version. I actually like the other version better. Unfortunately I don't see it anywhere on YouTube. Surely someone has it around here...

  • The things that this show did for the African-American community...please, you all are crazy. This show promoted education, the arts, family, and most important, BLACK LOVE. Bill Cosby and the cast of the Cosby Show changed the world. You all need to get a grip and stop hatin', cause that's what it sounds like to me, y'all hatin'!

  • I grew up watching this...and I really liked it

  • @weh63

Cant say it any better myself. It's as if people have really bought into this notion that ALL black people are ghetto and simple...as if we really are a big monolith. The legacy of this show is that it showed the freakin' country that black people could be, can be...and are just as "American" in their ideals and values as anyone else. All the revisionist history about it not being 'black' enough cracks me up. WTF does that mean? It's not real if we're not in the ghetto (ex. Good Times)?

  • @cbaldwinjr Just for the record, there was criticism from some when the show was first on the air that it wasn't "black enough," so it's not just revisionist history. I agree that this criticism was misguided, but it WAS there.

  • @773SleepyHollow You're so right, I remember at the time my mom's bf hated the show because he said "no black people I know live like that" he was basically a man who could never let go of his ghetto past. All I could think was I hoped I would be a dad like Cliff when I had a family...and I hope my kids think I am..if not, well I'll just beat them until they do. (joke!). :-)

  • @weh63 I completely agree with you, and I'm white.

  • @weh63 Thank you! Everybody wants to say that this show portrayed an unrealistic view of African Americans, thats bull.

  • @weh63 im not haiting this show was the best shit ever the coming from a white dude this show had the best music art annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd he had the best sweeters ever plus it just flat rocked! i cant think any other show that actualy showed such a sucssesful african-american family ^_^ this was and is the best show of all time! :D

  • I totally disagree. The Cosby Show is the one of the greatest if not the greatest television shows of all time in the history of network television!!!!!!

  • I knew I was going to get hate for that comment. It is still an overrated show though. I fail to see what makes it so funny compared to many newer sitcoms.

  • You don't even know what you are talking about dumb ass! None of these newer sitcoms are funny. They are just for retarded frat boys who have low attention spans. This show is still good! You just don't know what's good!

  • This show is basically the only 80's comedy show that was good - and it was the only African-American TV show that was not racist or stereotypical at all... so I fail to see how you can like "Wizards of Waverly Place" or "iCarly" better than this.

  • Comment removed

  • Well you really can't compare 30 Rock or Office to this show. Cosby Show is a family show (and family shows "shove after school lessons down your throat"), and 30 Rock and the examples you have definitely ARE NOT family shows. This is the best of the family show genre.

  • Jesus dude, did you have to come to this video just to give your opinion?

  • Rashad, modern sitcoms (98% of them) is some of the most worthless stuff that has ever been put on television.

it's why the sitcom has been dying as a genre.

a person would have to be utterly devoid of good taste to even compare them to this classic, much less say what you have said. You HAVE TO be a millennial, no one my age or older could have taste this poor lol.

  • +1 this was a great show. The sitcom can work. It takes good writing, a good premise, and good performers.

And yes, the end is epic. No doubt Bill influenced (among others) the dramatic chipmunk

  • Comment removed

  • Shut up this is one of the best shows of all time you should be grateful that an African-American was able to achieve that in the 80s when we were still being mistreated by the whites

  • This show is so fucking overrated. It's not that good and believe it or not, this coming from a black person.

  • Cosby aerobics!

  • For those of you who say "race doesn't matter", don't you know difference between RACE and CULTURE??? I was taling about Black culture not race.

  • sondra always had more flavor in the intros than on the actual show

  • Anyone have the syndicated version to this season-I always liked that version better than this

  • It always seems to me like he's dancing and he forgets the last note is coming, so he turns to look at the camera a split second late like "oh, shoots, time for a commercial already?"

  • Tempest was so pretty!

  • i didn't think so when I was young but looking back she was. I don't like the hair she had in latter episodes but she is pretty

  • Lisa Bonet can bump me with her ass any time she wants!:-)

  • um...what ass? Lisa Bonet was fine but didn't have much in the rump area. Neither did Sabrina Lebeauf. Now Keisha Knight Pulliam she's strapped. BIG time. Tempestt Bledsoe ....eh she's okay. Raven-Symone is a cheeseburger away from being fat. It doesn't matter to me thought. She's still hot.

  • "Raven-Symone is a cheeseburger away from being fat." Can you get ANY lower? >:(

  • Probably, but the truth hurts and I'm just telling the truth. There is nothing wrong with the fact that she's spreading out, but the fact is she IS spreading out. Probably hereditary. It's no big deal. To me it makes her look more womanly.

  • Yes, the truth can hurt, but you don't necessarily need to deliver the truth, especially if you're going to do it like that.

  • There is only one way to deliver the truth and that is truthfully. I don't lie for anybody. There is never a reason to lie. NEVER. I think you are making a big deal about nothing and you need to get a hold of yourself. Raven-Symone is a multi-millionaire entertainer and really could care less about what you or I think. Welcome to the real world.

  • lol thats hilarious but now that i see her being bigger i think taht she does look better bigger...and would be scary and sick like to see her skinny agian like josh from drake and josh he just looks too sick and too skinny is it true her mother is kim coles from living single/one on one/in living color?

  • He must be just acting)

  • Look s like Bill Cosby himself can't dance)

Wow, a black guy who CAN'T DANCE

    I've just seen a paradox)

  • I've seen Caucasian guys who can dance either. But it's not because of race. If you can't dance, you can't dance. That's pretty much all that it is.

  • I meant to say "can't" in the first sentence...oops.

  • For both of you he is doing that on purpose.

After all is was a comic show -

    Bill Cosby can dance.

  • I know he can dance. I know he's a comedian. I know he's just doing it to get laughs. But it was really unnecessary for S10THh to say "Wow, a black guy who CAN'T DANCE". Who really cares what color the man is?

  • I understand there is a missconception that all Africans-Americans can dance.....however the color of his skin shouldn't make a difference

  • I was trying to correct what S10th said by presenting Bill Cosby as an intelligent comedian...which he is

  • That's what I was trying to say.

  • i get tired of people Looking at peoples race i Love everyone theres good and Bad in everyone

  • My favorite opening!

  • Just goes to show how smart you are. Not at all. You're so smart you're dumb.

  • You must have a poor value of life to call someone else that. I certainly don't see any of you on tv unless you look at that show that you're doing stupid stunts.

  • They're not "pretending to be white". Anyone of any race can be extremely successful. You could be blue with red polka dots and be successful. I'll have you know that I know many black people who are successful, and all the same, I know that there are just as many white people who are unsuccessful. And don't use that repulsive word when describing dark-skinned people. I could call whites "white trash" but I don't because it's wrong. I'm not racist. But I think it's time you had a reality check.

  • Well when you make statements like the one you just made it shows that you have a little bit of predjudice in you. And besides if you have to call someone outside of what they are in their race it shows how stupid you are.

  • Actually, Mr. Impurrfect, it doesn't, because that's not true at all. I was only trying to show that person that anyone can be successful, no matter what color you are. I wasn't being racist. I despise racism. So how dare you accuse me of being such? You don't know anything about the person who is under the pseudonym "tsungihornist12". And what exactly did you mean by "if you have to call someone outside of what they are in their race it shows how stupid you are"?

  • Well obviously I was talking to the one who is Orientalsonacid or whatever his name is, and you decided to add your two cents worth or in this case half a penny of thoughts to this thought process. No one was referring to you. I know that the individual who uses the "n word" is definitelty a racist in his way of thinking. It shows that they do not wish to evolve and that they want to be in a frame of mind of putting down someone who is of another race.
