Lots of factors played into the election, but the majority of voters saw and FELT the terrible damage Bush has done to this country. And they voted for the guy they believe can fix it. That is simple common sense in its purest form. Sure many people voted with race as a motivation..both ways. But not enough to say it was the entire reason for Obama's victory. I agree the youth vote was a big factor, but that too was not much over past elections. The #1 factor in his win was great internet savvy.

Lots of factors played into the election, but the majority of voters saw and FELT the terrible damage Bush has done to this country. And they voted for the guy they believe can fix it. That is simple common sense in its purest form. Sure many people voted with race as a motivation..both ways. But not enough to say it was the entire reason for Obama's victory. I agree the youth vote was a big factor, but that too was not much over past elections. The #1 factor in his win was great internet savvy.

Some of the media is bias, but not all of it. And the most biased and most influencial is FOX, a pure Republican entity. But anyone who pays even minimal attention to the state of the country knows that the policies of the last eight years brought us to this point. The act of criticizing Bush is not an act of bias. There are plenty of straight forward news sources and most educated people are aware of them. Anyone who gets all their info from just one side or the other is woefully misinformed.

The whole point about my second comment was that too many people go on a rampage, and react upon emotion when something happens to one of "their" people whether it be white, black, hispanic, asian etc... If you take those four groups that I just mentioned, "in America" darker skinned people have been known to react in this manner.
